Chapter Eight

So last night I think I got Kaleb a little too upset. I should have waited until morning to talk about it. He left really early last night, when I went back upstairs after I went downstairs he just told me he has something to do and left.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last, so I decide to get up now and drink a mug of coffee before I fall asleep.

As I reach downstairs Aunty Alexis, Alisha and Ailey are already there eating breakfast.

"Mommy you're awake" Ailey screamed happily.

"Yes I am awake, morning guys."

"Morning Aleesia." Aunty Alexis greeted back. "Morning" Alisha said at the same time.

"Mommy am eating cheerios Aunty Alexis gave it to me."

"Nice, did you tell her thank you?" I ask her knowing that she forgets sometimes.

"Thank you Aunty Alexis." Aunt Alexis tells her she's welcome and then she turned to me.

"So where's Kaleb?" Aunt Alexis ask.

"H-he left early last night he didn't bother to stay, aah where's the milk?" I ask trying to avoid Aunt asking why he left.

"Here is it mommy it's almost finish, do you want cheerios too?" Ailey ask.

"No I'll just eat the other cereal sweetheart."

"Al-

"Oh look someone's knocking the door, I'll get." I said trying to dodge the question again I don't want her to know I got him upset over something stupid.
I opened the door.

"Oh its Kaleb guys."

"Hey," Kaleb said giving me a kiss.

"Hey, I thought you were upset with me?" I ask.

"I was but I can't stay upset with you for too long its hard to do." he kisses my forehead. "besides we have to find your sister remember."

"Yeah, come, my Aunt wants to see you." I said taking his hand dragging him to the kitchen.

"Good morning Aleesia's Aunt, Alisha."

"Good morning Kaleb" They both said in unison.

"Uncle Kaleb!" Ailey's voice shouted.

"Hey princess,"

"I thought you were going to stay with mommy?"

"I was but something came up and I had to leave." Kaleb said answering Ailey's question.

"Am going to school guys, bye." Alisha said Walking out.

"Bye." we all said at the same time.

"So what are we up to today?" Aunty Alexis ask.

"We as in Sia and I are going over to my house my mom wants to meet her." Kaleb answered.

"She does?" I ask and Kaleb gives me a face like just go with it. "I mean she does, she always ask Kaleb for me so,"

"Okay, well, so are you taking Ailey with?" She ask.

"Yes I'm taking her." I answer.

"Okay I'll see you later." she said and I tell her back and she walk out the kitchen going out to the back door.

Ailey and I got ready and went back downstairs to Kaleb.

"Ready?" Kaleb ask taking up Ailey. I nod my head yes.

"So my dad came this morning he said I should bring you today."

"Today? Why didn't you tell me when I was getting ready I could've dress a little better Kaleb."

"Hey, you look fine." Kaleb said getting in the car.

"So we are going to talk about the Carlos situation?" I ask.

"No my parents want to know you first and then tomorrow we can talk."

"Well okay, are we almost there?" I ask.

"Yes, infact we're here." he answers driving up to a gate the gate starts opening by itself and drives in.

"So how does this work, the gate?" I ask as he park the car.

"Well it reads my licence number and when it recognizes it, the gate will open." he explained getting out the car.

"That's cool." Ailey puts in.

"Yes it is." I said to Ailey.

"Mi hermano your back." I hear a little voice shouting happily then I see a little girl running towards us.

"Yes I am, Michaela this is Aleesia my girlfriend and herr daughter Ailey, Aleesia this is my sister on my father's side." he explained. "And look here is Jonathan he's the shy one." he said as a little boy walk up to him.

"Hey Jon, what's up?" Kaleb ask his brother taking him up.

"Papa won't give me any sweets." he answers with a little bit of sadness in his voice.

"I'm going to give you one when we get inside. Hey, look this is my friend Ailey she's your age and this is Aleesia. "

"Hi." Jonathan said to both of us.

"Hi Jon, he look so much like you Kaleb." I said looking at both of them.

We walk up to the front door went straight inside because the door was already open I bet Jonathan left it open.

"Mom, dad we're here." Kaleb called.

"In the backyard son" A spanish accent man shouted.

We walk to the backyard to see both hes parents sitting and talking.

"Oh this must be the famous Aleesia Dennie and her daughter Ailey." Mr. Garcia greeted.

"Yes, nice to meet you Mr. Garcia and Ms. Kara." I greeted.

"Nice meet you too sweetheart." Ms. Kara greeted back.
