"Hi, guys. I missed you." I said as Izuku and Iida climbed through the window.
"I missed you too, how was your day?" Izuku asked smiling.
"Great actually, but tomorrow is going to be terrible." I said holding my head down low.
"Why's that?" Iida asked.
"Tomorrow is the ball." I said rolling my eyes.
"Oh? What's so bad about a ball?" He said looking confused.
"I have to pick my husband tomorrow." I said sighing.
"That shouldn't be bad, you get to find the one you want to marry." He said smiling.
"The princes all just want me for my fame, money, and kingdom. For once I want someone who wants to love me and care about me. If I'm lucky the prince won't stage my death after I have a child so he can have everything to himself." I said.
"That's terrible, I didn't know royalty had it that bad. I thought is was all politics and fancy stuff." He said looking a little sad.
"Nope, it's actually full of death, misery, and fakes. All of the princes fake being so nice by kissing babies head and shit." I said huffing.
Iida chuckled. "You sure do have a strong opinion of them, but what if there is a nice one." He asked.
"The only one I haven't met is Prince Todoroki and I've heard some rumors about him. I don't believe them but with my experience with princes I'm scared to meet him." I said.
"What about Prince Todoroki?" Shoto said climbing through the window.
"Oh, I haven't met him and I'm a little scared to, I told you that right?" I asked.
"I think so." He said sounding slightly annoyed.
"Like, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to assume anything about him, he could be the nicest person in the world for all I know." I said.
"Well, is he coming to the ball tomorrow? Then you can meet him in person!" Izuku said.
"I'm pretty sure he's coming. Do you know if he is coming or not?" I asked looking at Shoto.
"He's coming." He said.
"Cool! I can meet him then! If he is nicer than the rest of them then I am instantly choosing him." I said.
"But what about the rivalry between your kingdoms? Won't your fathers be against it?" Iida asked.
"Probably, but if you think about it, it would unite our kingdoms just like Uraraka and Bakugou." I said.
"I suppose, I'm just worried about your safety. What if he fakes being nice?" Iida asked.
"I didn't think of that... I can't really escape it then. I'll just have to live with someone who hates me and doesn't love me until I die." I said with tears forming in my eyes.
"No! Don't cry! I'm sure everything will be alright!" Izuku said.
Shoto quickly pulled me into a hug. "I will never let anyone hurt you, that's a promise." He whispered in my ear.
I blushed and nodded my head. I think I'm catching feelings for Shoto. Fuck my life, I'll never be able to date him. He's such an awesome guy and he respects me, he doesn't treat me like I'm dirt on his shoe. If only he was a prince.
"Anyway, I'll try to keep in touch with you guys as much as I can. I can't promise how much I'll be able to talk to you after this marriage thing though." I said sighing.
"It's fine, I'm sure you could somehow keep in touch with us." Izuku said.
"I don't know, the only way I could without sneaking is if I hired you to work at my kingdom." I said.
"You could do that, I could go on quests for your kingdom while also following my own dream of conquering 100 quests in my lifetime. I want to be the greatest wizard there ever was!" He said smiling proudly.
"Okay! I'll hire you as soon as possible!" I said.
"Thank you so much, princess. This means a lot to the both of us, bless you." Iida said bowing.
"Call me (Y/N), no need for formalities. I'm human too remember." I said huffing.
"Ah, yes, sorry. Still I am extremely thankful for everything you have done for us." He said.
"I just offered you a job, it's nothing special." I said laughing.
"Well, I would also like to except your offer! Instead if being a knight for the King Aizawa, I will be your knight!" He said saluting me.
"Hold in a damn minute, the only knight that will be taking care of her is me!" Denki said bursting through the door.
"Denki! What is wrong with you? My dad will hear." I said grabbing him by the ear and pulling him into the room.
"You're the one who is trying to replace me." He pouted.
"He's going to be working for the kingdom, dummy. He won't take your place." I said hugging him.
"Yeah, that's right! I'm the best knight here!" He said looking at Iida.
"No, you're not. All might is. Stop insulting my visitors." I said annoyed.
He sat on the ground with a 'hmpf'. "Whatever. Who is this dude?" He said pointing to Shoto.
"Oh, thats my friend Shoto. He's really nice and amazing." I said smiling.
"Really? What's so nice about him?" He asked.
"He helped me when I fell through his window and he promised to always protect me." I said smiling happily while blushing a bit.
"You have a crush on her!" He said laughing at Todoroki.
Todoroki's face flushed red. "I do not! I met her three days ago!" He said.
"Your face says otherwise." Denki said laughing harder.
"You really are a handful..." I said rolling my eyes and blushing. "I'm sorry about him, the only reason he's still he is because of me."
"So, what's his deal?" Izuku asked.
"Well, he's kinda dumb and reckless. He picked a fight with my dad once and anyone knows you don't pick a fight with the king, so he was about to get kicked out but I blamed it on his quirk and got him to stay." I said.
"Why would you want a guard like that?" Iida asked.
"He really is a great fighter and he would give his life for me, he just doesn't have much common sense." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"Ah, well I hope you have a good night. Me and Izuku should get back to the inn." Iida said.
"Aww, already?" Izuku whined.
"Yes, come on now." He said rolling his eyes.
"Bye (Y/N)." Izuku said as he climbed out of the window.
"I should get doing too, I have something to prepare for tomorrow." Shoto said walking towards the window.
"Wait!" I said.
"Huh?"
I kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you for saying you're going to protect me."
"It's my pleasure." He said smiling.
God damn I could look at that smile every day. I watched as he climbed down and waved goodbye. I smiled and sighed in content. Unfortunately, I forgot Denki was still here.
"You totally like him." He said smirking.
"Pshh, naw..." I lied.
"You totally do and I ship it so much." He said.
"Get out, dork." I said as I pushed him out.
I feel asleep happily again, if only I could sleep this way every night...
