Ŧhe students of the Stratford Community and the members of Sin City Slashers are having the time of their lives partying the night away to welcome the new year. Team and gang rivalries along with past problems have been put aside for one night of music, dancing, partying and fun.

Ages ranging from 15 to 25 filled the James household as Quentin James the twenty-one year older brother of Stratford Northwestern junior Harley James along with a few friends watch over the younger generation making sure they didn't go too overboard.

Quentin does whatever he can to be seen as the cool brother and make his little brother happy. The boys lost their parents three years earlier to a horrific car accident which almost killed both boys as well but they survived and got back on their feet. The young man only being eighteen at the time and fresh outta high school had no clue what to do to keep himself and his two younger brothers alive. Luckily the middle brother Tristan was at a sleepover for a friend's birthday so he wasn't in the car when the accident happened but he was there to help his brothers recover.

Quentin has made it his life's mission to never see a day when his brothers are unhappy or get hurt by his decisions so he went to college and got an associates in accounting and now has a corporate job that lets him provide generously for his brothers and give them everything his parents would had they still been around.

But he can't always stop bad things from happening....

Back in the living room of the James' mansion, the students--all at different levels of intoxication--are having the time of their lives dancing to the latest jams of 2020. Whether they're happy to be back in school or not doesn't matter because at this time they're all having fun.

Some would argue going back to school has meaning because of the parties. Others would say that isn't true because summer has more parties but does it really when you're stuck going back and forth to camp, practice and sports competitions?

Nonetheless, they're all enjoying their time. But unannounced to everyone at the party, two souls are driving themselves insane as they fight the feelings and tension that continue to grow between them. They both fear getting hurt and the unknown but hate being apart.

Kylie Marshall and Jason McCann keep sharing a sparing glance each other's way feeling their hearts break each time they see someone who is not themselves with the person they have such strong feelings for.

Jason isn't afraid to admit he likes Kylie and may not be love but his feelings are strong. He has to fight his feelings to keep himself out of jail and trouble with their parents but also to respect her values.

Kylie on the other hand fights only herself, she has morals and values and plans set in stone after her ex broke her heart but as she and Jason grew closer, she wants him to break down her walls.
