So this isn't a chapter but its still important.
So we recently lost another brother of the black community to police brutality. I'm honestly disgusted by it. We shouldn't have to lose another innocent soul for it to be known that police brutality is a thing.
For those of you who don't know I am an African American female. I live in the state of Tennessee. They passed the right to bare arms law in this state a while ago before I moved here. It scares the living hell out of me to go out at anytime of the day. I should not feel that the color of my skin is a weapon or a threat to society. I'm now scared to go outside TO CHECK THE MAIL OR TAKE OUT THE TRASH.
I'm tired of hearing this "not all cops are bad" bullshit. I'll start believing that when the cops stop treating us like animals. When a white person gets arrested the do it ever so calmly, but when its a person of color they hurt them in everyway possible.
And it seems that when there are protest white people go out with fire arms and scream and cause Armageddon but when us blacks and colored people do it we get hosed down and tear gassed and and brutally beaten. This is a perfect example of white America.
To those of you reading this that arent a person of color and are using your white privilege for a good cause, thank you.
I'm so sick of all the racism in society. I shouldn't have had to hear that my 10 year old cousin was being pulled out of school because two kids threatened her by saying their parents were gonna shoot her because her mom is black and her dad is black. I shouldn't be getting called a beaner by kids in my school all because im part Hispanic.
And for those of you saying white people face racism too, you cant be racist towards a white person, you cant oppress the oppressed.
Society has made it to make us look like ruthless riot starting people, but we aren't. We are smart humble open minded people, society just turns us down from so many opportunities to make us look dumb.
I'm not saying this for attention, I'm saying this to get my point across. These people have blood on their hands and are getting away with it.
