Oh, this is going to be good :).

And it's so frustrating! Half of you want Derek, and the other half wants Drake! But, I've already got the outcome, I just can't tell you how it ends. You're going to have to read to find out.

Oh, and yayz, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Sparks Fly – Taylor Swift

-------------------------

The way you move is like a full-on rainstorm
And I'm a house of cards
You're the kind of reckless that should
Send me running but
I kinda know that I won't get far
And you stood there in front of me
Just close enough to touch
Close enough to hope you couldn't see what I was thinking of

Get me with those green eyes baby
As the lights go down

My mind forgets to remind me

Your a bad idea

I'm on my guard for the rest of the world, but with you
I know it's no good

Chapter Twenty – Two – Celeste

------------------------------

Simple and beautiful was the only way to put it.

The dress was a soft dusty pink. Silky ruffles cascaded on the front from top to bottom. It was a dress from a dream, but here it was, and I was wearing it. How could something so beautiful exist?

Grabbing a brush from my desk, I tugged it through all the layers of my hair, then set the brush down. Gathering my hair together, I placed it over my left shoulder.

Hair the color of milk chocolate and two blue eyes stared back at me, the color of blue that you saw after starting into a light and then glancing away. Unimaginable.

Maybe the mirror was lying to me. I couldn't possibly look like that. It was definitely lying.

But there wasn't really any more time to tell myself about what was true and what was a lie, because Drake was already knocking at my door.

It was time for the Winter party.

I turned towards the door, and throwing a last glance at the mirror, I unlocked it, and let it swing open.

Drake was standing before me, dressed in a snug white cashmere shirt, making his eyes stand out like the Sun on a rainy day. He was holding a bouquet of red roses. He was looking at me with wide eyes.

“You look beautiful,” he said, and then cracked a smile. He handed me the flowers, and I took them gratefully. “For a knight, you clean up really nice.”

“You too,” I responded dumbly. I didn't know what to say. Something about his presence was making my throat go numb, like I was unworthy. He caught my emotions and held out an arm.

“Shall we?” he asked. I laughed, a genuine laugh, and took his arm.

“We shall.”
