*Aiden's POV*

Liam and I were about to call it a night and went back home when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller id to reveal Geneva's mother. It felt weird for her to call me when it was about to be 8 in the night but knowing she won't call me this late without any important reason, I picked up. Her voice was quivering and stuttering when she started. "He- Hello?" she asked, her voice felt as if she was crying for a long time. "Hi" I replied in a worried tone. As soon as she heard my voice, she started crying. "Ple- Please.... come.... home..... fast" she made out these words in between her sobs and without wasting a second, Liam and me started the car and got to her house. It felt as if we took an hour to reach there but in reality we reached there in two minutes which meant we broke a couple rules. As soon as we reached there, we climbed down and made it towards the door. We knocked but didn't got any answer. As seconds passed I grew more worried which made me to turn the door knob which lead to the conclusion that the door was not locked. We got in to the familiar house and started calling for Geneva and her mother to which we got pathetic cries from the upper stairs. We started to climb the stairs and as soon as we reached the upper floor, door to Geneva's room opened. We got there and understood it was her mother who opened it. We looked at her when I realized her dress had blood stains and the door to the bathroom was open. No no no. That could never happen. With my heart beating so fast, I reached the bathroom door and saw it. Something I was worried sick  would happen. My heart jumped to my throat at the scene. One of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen was laying on the bathroom floor, bathe in blood. Stiffness overcome me. I could feel my self pleading to god that this was just a nightmare. I stood there, paralyzed, as blood from my own veins felt to evaporate. "Aiden" Liam's shouting brought me back to senses. I looked at him to see Aunt Linda crying with palms over her face and Liam trying his best to console her. I went into the bathroom which was covered in blood and scooped Geneva from the ground in bridal style. I felt as if she moved at the touch and when I felt her breath on my body, it was shallow and soft. I rushed down stairs with Liam and Linda, and as we were near to the car, Aunt Linda got into back seat and Liam helped me to lay Gen there. After that, Liam got into the passenger's seat and I started to drive. In 2-3 minutes time we reached the hospital and parked in the emergency area. Other than whispers of sorry from her mother, I couldn't hear any thing. I opened the back door and saw Aunt Linda staring at me in guilt and jittery. I tried taking out Geneva in the most comfortable and less hurting way I can even though I didn't knew if she could feel or not. The nurses and porters took her to a room where she was laid in a bed and was transferred to the emergency room. We waited outside, impatiently, when my phone started ringing again. I look at the caller id to see it was my mother and I picked it up. "Aiden, I need you home right now.." but I cut her off "Mom?"

 "Aiden, you okay?"

"Mom, can you please come to the Care and Cure Hospital right now?" I asked in the most nonchalantly way possible. " Son, you alright?" She asked in an extremely worried tone. Of course, I wasn't but I could not put them in words. Without further anything , I hung up on her. There were these voices in my head asking me why am I staying here but I shut down them cause I knew what I was doing now, even if it is staying in a hospital corridor with a persistent worry, was the right thing to do.
