Chapter 6 - the journey home

Kami buys me the giant Pikachu plush and I give both Kami and the Pikachu plush hugs.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" I say happily.

"You should be the one to thank. For this amazing day."

I smile at him.

"We should both head home now. But you can stay at mine, if you like."

"I can't. My family will be worried sick..."

"Well, I'll see you at school tomorrow then."

"But, can I have your socials?"

"Sure!"

We exchange usernames and then both of us head to our houses. He really seems to like the username pikachudenki. Mine is nekoclouds.

When I arrive home my mum asks me where I went. I just say I went to the movies with some friends. I can't tell her about Kami just yet.

"Where did you get that Pikachu plush?"

"I bought it from the toy store near the movies"

I then go into my room and I go to sleep cuddling my brand new Pikachu plush. All ready for tomorrow. Another day at UA high.

Another day to see Kami.

It's 3am but I wake up to my phone vibrating loudly.

pikachudenki: I had a nightmare

I dislike being woken up at this time but I want to help Kami. He clearly needs me to cheer him up.

nekoclouds: what was it about?

Kami starts typing immediately.

pikachudenki: I lost all my friends and I spent the rest of my life alone~

I should tell him I'll always be there for him. But I don't want to tell him about how my crush on him keeps growing.

nekoclouds: you know that's not going to happen. I may have met you recently but I know I have no reason to leave you. Now you go back to sleep.

pikachudenki: I will. Pika pika.

He just said pika pika! That's so cute!

But I fall asleep again too.
