Chapter 10 - I can't do this without you

Me and the rest of Class 1-A are outside, faced with the League of Villains. There's so many pro heroes. I just hope we'll be safe...

Himiko Toga comes up to us asking if she could stab Izuku Midoriya.

Me, Ochako and a few others shout "NO! NOT DEKU!"

So, she goes straight for me.

Luckily with my neko quirk I can jump really high so she misses and nothing was cut. But then Dabi burns me with his flames and I find it hard to move. Why am I the one being attacked?

More attacks, more attacks. And I'm completely paralyzed.

Kami comes up to me with a worried look on his face.

"Don't hurt her anymore! Don't you see she's already hurt enough?"

He hugs me and keeps me warm.

"SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE! I DON'T WANT (Y/N) TO DIE!"

Which is then followed by a soft "I love her..."

With the last strength I have, I whisper "and I love you too Kami"

I don't remember what happened after that. I must have passed out. Because I'm in a hospital with Kami holding my hand and telling me jokes to try make me laugh.

I start crying and I can't stop.

"I'm so sorry for making you worry about me Kami"

"It wasn't your fault (Y/N). How were you expecting to avoid all those attacks?"

"I'm just scared this might be my death bed. I've never been hurt like this before..."

"No, please, no! (Y/N)... I can't do this without you. I can't live without you..."

"I don't know if I'll be okay this time round..."

But just as I say that, the nurse comes in.

"We did some tests on (Y/N), it looks like she'll be fine. We just need to look after her for a few weeks."

"A few weeks? She'll be in here that long?"

"You can visit any time you want"

Kami smiles and says "I'll try visit you as much as I can."

I smile back. "I'd love that"

"If I'm your Pikachu, can you be my Eevee?"

"Of course" I say, and then I ask if Kami can stay here for the night.

"He'll have to leave at 8pm. I'm sorry..."

I sigh sadly. At least that's 6 hours away so I still have a lot of time to hang out with him.

He lets go of my hand and hugs me gently so that he doesn't hurt me.

"I love you, my little Eevee"

"I love you too, my cute Pikachu"

Timeskip: 10 years later

A/n: yeah I know, quite a big timeskip, right?

Me and Kami are sitting at a café in Paris. Of course now we're both in our 20s.

"Mr and Mrs Kaminari?"

For this part of the story, I'm going to call him Denki so don't get alarmed about the change

Denki and me reply with "yes, that's us!"

"I brought you the chocolate cake you forgot in the taxi..."

Denki blushes and says "I'm so dumb! How could I forget that!"

By the way, the chocolate cake is for our daughter's 3rd birthday.

"Happy birthday Rai!"

A/n: I chose the name Rai because it means thunder and also works as a Japanese female name.

Rai opens the box and starts trying to eat some of the cake.

"No, not yet!" I exclaim quietly.

"Oh..." Rai says cutely.

Denki takes the cake out of the box and puts the 3 candles on it.

We then sing happy birthday to our daughter and let her blow out the candles.

It seems like me and my Pikachu will be together forever. We've come so far.
