IN TROUBLE

Chapter 2: We're moving.

I woke up in the morning feeling tired and sick, and definitely not like P-Diddy. Has anyone woken up like P-Diddy? Except for the man himself. So, how did even Ke$ha come up with those lyrics of Tik Tok?

My entire body ached in pain, my throat felt so sore and my eyes hurt like a female dog. All thanks to my wonderful siblings because they thought that it would be 'fun' and 'amusing to watch' while they throw me into the pool while I was drinking a can of Sprite and fully clothed. FULLY CLOTHED.

Bloody mofos.

I dragged myself out of my bed groggily, to the bathroom, letting out a tired groan. I brushed my teeth and washed my face but too tired to take a shower and went straight downstairs to the kitchen to feed a humongous monster, also known as my tummy.

The amazing scent of pancakes filled up my nostrils, increasing my mood. "Mom?" I literally groaned and it came out like a voice of some demon possessed person. Ouch, my throat felt so dry and itchy.

"Baby! You're up. Good morning!" She greeted me without tearing her gaze away from the pancakes she was busy making and which were currently on the pan. How on earth are people so cheerful on mornings? How God, how?

She glanced up after she flipped over her pancake and her eyes widened to an extent that I didn't know that was possible. "Good heavens!' She gasped, "You look horrible!"

"Gee, thanks a lot mom." I managed to mumble, squinting my eyes at the amount of sunlight that escaped through the curtains of windows. I mentally curse at the curtains. "Good to see that you haven't lost your sarcasm when you're not feeling well." She muttered and chuckled to herself.

"Mom, do you mind if I rip off Nate's and Dani's heads afterwards? For doing this to me?" I ask with an evil plan already formulating in my evil mind. That makes my mom have an identical smirk appear on her lips, "Oh, I thought you'd never ask, sweetie. I'll even help you if you want my assistance."

I shook my head with a sly smirk on my lips, "Thanks, mom. But I think I've got this. This is my battle, and only mine." I reassured her and rub my palms together with an evil laugh escaping through my lips.

I heard her mumble to herself, "Why you so extra?"

That's when I notice an odd smell in the kitchen, as I glance down at the pancakes, I point at it, "Umm...mom? Your panca-"

Her gaze fell upon the breakfast she was preparing at my words, "Oh crap!" She exclaimed loudly and placed the pancakes which were slightly burned on a plate. "Honey, don't forget to take some Aspirin from the cabinet after breakfast. Okay?"

I nod lazily, "Yeah yeah, but I'm starving right now! Give me some pancakes, mommy." I pretend to whine like a little kid arguing for candy. She rolled her eyes, shaking her head in disapproval, she mutters to herself the words "You're always starving." Eventually she gave me the pancakes she had prepared before burning the latest ones.

I gazed greedily at them, my mouth watering initially. I poured down some maple syrup on it and grabbed some raspberries and blueberries from the fridge. I sprinkled a bit powdered sugar on top of it too. I took a spoonful of nutella, took hold of another pancake and spread the hazelnut spread all over it.

I eat like a pig at times. Okay who am I kidding, at ALL times.

"Thwanks, Mowmm." I said with mouthful of pancakes. "Ywou are thwe bwest!" I give her failed toothy grin.
