I could feel the energy in me.Adrenaline was rushing through my body.My hands were swinging back and forth. My legs moving as fast as they could. My heart was pumping like I was running a marathon but here,I was actually running but not a marathon.I was competiting for the tryouts. You might be thinking I'm really really stupid and why I've been working very hard for this,me being the State Champion and no one can beat me.But my dear friend, the real world as I know it,definitely does not work like that. The saying 'Practise makes a man perfect.' is absolutely 100% correct.Without practise I might lose my touch with running and what I have been practising and working hard for practically my whole life will be thrown into the trash before I could even finish saying 'chocolate'.Now I'm done with boring you with my speech.I finally reached the finish line and I was the first one to.I was panting very hard and I was sweating like a pig,how I longed to have a hot, soapy and a bubbly bath.Oh God,the feels.I sucked in the air and I moved from front of the tracks as I certainaly don't want to bump into anyone while they come running like wind.

I looked over the tracks and I saw Georgie,a British girl whose accent I'm in love with. She was really sweet and had a really good sense of humour. She had the perfect model like body, curves at the right places and beautiful pitch black hair, that shone like a diamond with the light reflecting on her hair and she was really very tall.Oh and I think I forgot to mention this before.I'm short.Very short.Georgie was pushing her body really hard to run more faster.I could see a blonde haired girl,I think her name was Clementine was advancing towards her from behind.

'Come on,Georgie! You can do it! Faster! Faster!' I cheered at the top of my lungs.

I could see Georgie starting to worry.'Don't panic! Come on,you can do it!' I shouted causing some of the people to turn and glare at me and I glared back.So rude of them to do that.I'm encouraging a friend right here and I don't find anything wrong with it.

Georgie started picking up her pace and increasing her speed. She was pushing herself so hard to bag the second place.Come on Georgie,I mentally cheered. She finally reached the finish line, second.I ran to get a waterbottle from the coolers and rushed to her quickly. She was panting really hard and was bending down to catch her breath and her hands were on her knees.

'You did good! Really good!' I spoke rubbing her back.'Now,drink this.' I said handing her the waterbottle. She was breathing heavily, then it went back to normalcy.I could see that she was enjoying the pleasure of normally breathing again. She leaned forward and took hold of the bottle. She whirled the bottle cap open and gulped down the water in one whole sip.I feel you girl.

'Thank you.Thank you,Scar.' She thanked me between her sips more like a gulp and smiled gratefully at me.

I gave her a smile and patted her back.'You finished second! Good job!'

'Yeah! I know! Thanks! You were brilliant, absolutely astonishing.'

'Forget about me!' I replied and held out my hand to her.'Come on,get off you lazy butt.'

'Oye!' She shouted and got on her feet.

As the results came I was first,Georgie was second,Clementine came third,Gabi came fourth and a girl named Andrea came fifth. All five of us got selected for the school team and I was rejoicing like I met Josh Hutcherson.

'I'm craving for a cheesecake!' Georgie said with a grin on her face and rubbing her hands together.

'That was random and ahh..me too.' I responded nodding my head and thinking/dreaming/drooling about my mom's chocolate raspberry cheesecake. It's too good to be real, and the funny part is that it is actually real. But all good things have a catch in them and for my mom's cake it is that she makes it once in a blue moon. Not one of my luckiest days, bae.
