Just an ordinary looking girl in sophomore years in Paracelsus Tech High. Yeah, this was Connie. Top engineering wizard, but not the average school nerd. Weirdo, has lots of friends from all years for the record but antidepressant-dependent.
(laughs in narratives)
So, Connie walked cheerfully to the Theta Block, while stumbling over the colourful people of PTHS. She stopped beside a mahogany door.
"WHAT DID I MISS?" Connie yelled as she hopped into the Top Wizards Meeting. Everybody turned around at her.
"AAAAH CONNIE!" a girl screamed as Connie landed on her cat. That's Helewn Hallgold, Chemistry/Alchemy Wizard. President Angel Orin slammed the table and sat down.
"So guys as we all know, the administration has opened the new branch of ethereal science, the engineering branch, for some years now so let we welcome Connie into our fold." Angel said. Faint applause followed his words.
"Hehe, so what do i do?" Connie asked. The other members laughed.
"We are basically a tuition help society, like a smartass club." Helewn replied while stroking her flattened cat.
"Aight, so let me introduce you to all of our members. In the Alchemy branch, as you know, Helewn Hallgold, Physiology, me, Angel Orin, in the Toxicology branch, Cullen Hamsworth, Astrology, Alice Juan, Theology, Arianna Liene and Philosophy, Noran Finch." Angel said while pointing to each of the other members. Connie was quite exhilarated for this new job but then, she was a little bit bummed.
Seeing Angel and Helewn wielding wands and potions, Alice and Noran with dirty scrolls and runes, Connie felt small and her engineering stuffs weren't that magical, in fact, she didn't even involve magic much. Engineering wasn't much off some ancient books. Her family was actually involved the Magic Seclusion Movement Act. She believed in Paracelsus' old teachings about how things work are on the nature itself, the science. But then the recent generation of the students just ignored the old principles and gone off to combine paranormal powers to natural science mechanics. So Paracelsus' original followers has slowly ceased over the years.
"So we are done on this meeting, and i hope all each of us can work on making the students good on their grades for the upcoming inter-school decathlon." Angel said. Connie hurried to the door.
"Angel, what about the Windmill Project?" Arianna said. Connie stood still. The room turned quiet. Angel was about to talk but Alice cut him off.
"The administration cancelled it this year. Oracles from my branch said the the stars will do good for some 2 or 3 rotations. As for any aether storms, it won't be for another 20 years." Alice brushed off and left the room.
"So, we all can return to our respective branches is it. Meeting dismissed." Angel said and everybody left. Connie turned off the lights and scooted down the hall.
"The Windmill Project hmm?" Connie sighed.
