(Helewn)

It was Farine's day 6. I already did the alpha test with Tyler's help yesterday. Farine approached me.

"I am excited for tomorrow. I'll make sure the storm did least damage this year with our team." he told me. I glared at him. I can't even tell what I feel. I just want this all to end quickly.

"Helewn, Farine!" Connie exclaimed from the entrance of the court. She was carrying some more research papers. Tyler's, obviously. She walked towards us and started to speak.

"The full printed report for department documentation." she said and put the papers on the bench. Farine stood up.

"So are you guys familiar with how to work this machine?"

I yawned. No joke seriously.

"So this machine has the windmill-esque body in the front that collects the matter in the storm. The matter creates energy for the back part, the toaster blaster, to release an anti matter radiation shield thingy to protect the from the solar radiation that will come from the ozone hole that will be created by the dark matter storm." Connie blurted out. Smartass.

"You heard her, Hel." Farine said. I just gave him a bland look and sipped from my flask. And I just remembered something that Tyler and I had worked on.

"And I guess, for back up, I ordered some radiation bubble for the students in case of a malfunction." I said. Farine and Connie looked at me and agreed.

Movement science isn't that bad, I guess I should shift to Engineering next term. Meh.

We left the place after Connie and I kept the machine covered under the shelter. We all got out and Farine closed the gate. I think I heard a creak or two.

"Wait." I said. They all heard me and left. After a while sitting there, I got bored and left.

I was quite scared that Helewn might have seen me. But I managed to make her leave hah. I crept through this secret hole I found near the shelter. I saw the big clothed thingy.

"Their windmill?" I muttered. I lifted the cover and saw the large machine. I took my cable cutter and cut the linkage between the blaster and the wind collector. I also dented the blades a bit. Nyeh, I can't do much. I'll trigger the alarm then. I collected my stuff and walked back to my hole. As I took a step, I heard a creak and look down.

"Flux capacitors?"

Yo, I'm back.

It was day 7 eve. 5.00 am. Raining really bad. The three were racing to the court. Helewn opened the chest near the shelter and took out 3 capsules and threw them to the other 2.

"Protection suits, activate them." Helewn said as she was already cover in the suit, followed by Farine and Connie. Farine took off the windmill's cover.

"Oh no."

Connie looked at him.

"Why?" she said. Farine pointed to the blade and the linkage.

"They're broken and dented." Farine said as he took out his toolbox. I took him new blades and fixed it with Helewn in the pouring rain. After Farine reconnected the linkage, they pushed the machine out, heading to the schoolfront. It wasn't moving at first due to the huge size but Farine put it on wheels so it's possible to move.

It's nearing sunrise when they finally got the machine at the schoolfront. In suits, they stood beside the machine, waiting for any signs of the storm.

"What the storm will look like!?" Helewn yelled as the rain was too loud.

"According to Madam, the sky will be dark!" Connie replied. In a split second, the rain stopped and the sky turned completely dark, void black. The school alarm rings for the other students to go to safety in case of a miscalculation but instead most of them came out to peek. Only the teachers were outside. Professor Zachary of Astrology approached us.

"Professor!" Farine said. Professor looked at the three and pointed at the storm, Madam Priscilla followed him.

"What you are witnessing right now is the first stage of the storm. The eclipse. Researches from my branch are saying that this stage will last about an hour before the wind blasts. But I think  the smoke blasted out will withstand it long enough before it touches the schoolgrounds." he said.

Farine, Connie and Helewn were keeping their eyes peeled open while Helewn slowly holding the machine on blasting anti matter to build the shield. Tyler and Angel was there. Connie took a glance at Tyler.

"You can do this, Connie."

Connie smiled. Farine gathered Connie and Helewn close.

"Let's prepare to die." Farine said. As usual, Helewn rolled her eyes at Farine's overdramaticness.
