"Thud!" the drawer banged as Connie pushed it closed after taking out the pitching letter she and Tyler wrote. She sat on her bed and threw a pen at Helewn's cat who in response leapt on Helewn who was still sleeping. Helewn woke up gasping in shock. (Connie lives in the same house as Helewn).
"Hel, wake up, it's library research period." Connie said as she took out a big plate of pizza into the orphanage extension of her house. Helewn rubbed her eyes. On her bedside was a beaker of bloodwort tea. She grabbed it and gulped some of it.
"What's the purpose of you gulping those weird named plant teas, Hel?" Connie said as she was brewing normal conventional tea. Helewn looked at her. (Sometimes Helewn can be described as a weird stoned grandma, her drinking gave her red eyes)
"Heightened physiology, vision and sorcering skills." Helewn said. Connie gave a skeptical look.
"Man. Hel, have you ever thought of learning real biochemistry?" Connie said. Helewn flinched.
"Fake imitation magic it is. Not interested." Helewn said as she grabbed her towel and went to the toilet.
"Meh." Connie murmured and left to see Tyler.
She walked across the residential acres and grabbed a coffee. Suddenly, she bumped into a guy and a bucket fell on her.
"WOAH!" Connie screamed as she found herself to be coated in snail slime and snails themselves. She looked up and saw a guy, chiseled features and stuffs but cuckoo about some snails.
"Mann, Connie right? I'm sorry." The guy said as he picked Connie up. He took out a bag of flour and poured it on me, somehow the snail came off and I rubbed the slime off me. Slightly less dirty than before.
"I'm not gonna go mad at you for bumping into me but then what's with the snails? And how did you know me?" Connie said, while picking up her bag.
"You are the new face of Engineering, Connie! And these snails are for my new project. It's a new adhesive. Genuine science for life yo!" The guy said. Connie was mesmerized. Finally not a downright lunatic, less lunatic to bump into.
"You support genuine science? Nice. I hope people here will accept it fully, not just the engineering branch." Connie said and shook the guy's hand.
"I'm John Farine by the way. I'm going for the secret project this year, may the best get the part." said the guy. Connie was running late so she just ran off.
"See you soon!" Connie said.
Connie ran as fast as she could because he knew Tyler was waiting for her to go the Administration Tower. He found Tyler beside the library door.
"Connie, what took you too long?" Tyler said.
"I met this one guy, he told me he's fighting for a secret project. Not sure if it's Windmill too." Connie said.
"Woah, was it Flourguy? Farine?" Tyler said. Connie was trying to remember the guy's name.
"Yea, John Farine." Connie said.
"Bruh he's a noobie, he doesn't even know what Windmill Project is about." Tyler said.
"Bro chill, give him a chance, I can see he's quite of a genuine science supporter." Connie said.
"Heh, let's go to the Tower." Tyler said as he pulled Connie away from the library door.
They walked and climbed some stairs. Finally at the door. Connie knocked and it opened.
"Madam, Constance Trelawney and Tyler Quarkto-" Connie said but was cut off after she saw somebody sneaking into some papers inside the office. Madam Priscilla wasn't in.
"HEY! Who's there!" Connie yelled and the mysterious figure flinched and ran out of the window. We rushed to the mess, but Connie found that they looked untouched.
"Thanks goodness, I guess we should just wait for Madam Priscilla." Tyler said.
We waited for some quite while. Suddenly, Madam Priscilla came. We walked inside.
"Madam, here we want to propose to uncancel the Windmill Project." Connie said.
"But you guys are already been informed that the storm won't happen for another 20 years right? No need to waste resources." Madam said.
"Madam, we did read in Paracelsus' Journal, that there's a prediction, I'm sorry, a prophecy about another storm coming on this year, but we are unclear of the exact date. Maybe if you could fund and allow this, we could do more observations and-" Tyler said but he was cut off after Madam slammed the table.
"I'm rejecting the proposal. Constance, Tyler, I'm sorry, but Astrology branch has informed us the official decision and if there's really the storm, we'll give the job to another school." Madam said.
"But I'll just leave the paperwork here in case you'd be interested, Madam. Thank you." Connie said and put the paperwork on the desk.
"I'm sorry bro we couldn't make it, I guess we'll just wait for some more years." Connie said.
"Meh it's fine." Tyler said. Connie walked off. Tyler turned to his side and saw a snail shell by the corner of the office door.
"Connie, wait for me!" Tyler yelled as he chased down Connie.

It was 2 days later, and Connie was at the library. Another day, fighting with Helewn over the teapot, feeding orphans, and library periods with Tyler.
Suddenly,
"ATTENTION TO THE NAMES, CONSTANCE TRELAWNEY OF ENGINEERING, HELEWN HALLGOLD OF ALCHEMY AND JOHN FARINEBOF ENGINEERING, PLEASE REPORT TO MADAM PRISCILLA'S OFFICE BY TEN." the intercom sounded out as clearly as it can.
"CONNIE! YOU GOT CALLED!" Tyler yelled at Connie, who was sleeping behind a stack of Hydraulics book. Connie woke up and pushed over the stacks of books.
"By ten, Madam's office. I guess our proposal got accepted." Tyler said excitedly.
"Spaghetti?" Connie said. John Farine who was sitting behind them walked up to Connie and cheered up.
"Connie, you heard the announcement? Wait for me at the cafeteria, let's go together." Farine said. Connie uneasily backed off a bit and nodded.
"Hey, I thought you wanted me to go with you!" Tyler said.
"Seriously Tyler, it might be confidential, hey." Connie said.
"Meh alright." Tyler said and continued to sink into his book.

They were already at the office, Helewn, Connie and Farine. Madam Priscilla opened a large file in front of them.
"Congratulations, you three are drafted for the uncancelled Windmill Project." Madam said, fast, like ripping a band aid.
Helewn had no slight change in her facial expression, we can see glee in Farine's face and shock in Connie's face.
"Tyler?"
