We started walking at a fast pace, stopping to catch our breath and to eat or drink. Before we knew it, we left the forest and we ended up in a large field. It was windy because the trees were not blocking the wind. A rabbit scurried across our paths and we watched hurry into it's burrow.
"So, do you know the way to this place you saw?" Mud said.
"No, but I'm following where my heart takes me." Star replied.
We continued walking through the field when we saw, it.
It was a big brown shaggy bear, eating a deer carcass. We were curious, so we approached it slowly. Then suddenly, it stood up on its two big back paws and started at us right in the eyes. We frozen as it let out a mighty roar.
"Mud, run! Go hide in that bush!" I whispered in fear.
He ran to the nearest bush, about ten feet away. I knew he would be safe there.
I hissed at the bear, with my claws out. It let out another roar, this time charging closer. I jumped back, and let out a low growl. The bear lifted its massive paw and swiped at me. Luckily i missed, otherwise I would've b even a goner. Then i leaped at the bear and scratched its side. It let out a roar then scampered away.
"Star! Are you ok?" Mud said, running out of the bush.
"Yes, I'm ok." I said, panting form what happened.
"Let's go." I said.
"Stop right there!" A guard said, right before we started walking....
