Professor Car opened the door to Peter's room and smiled. "Hello, Peter. Ready for your first day of experiments?"

Peter was dragged out of the room by men wearing lab coats. He was taken to a room like the one he woke up in. He was strapped down to a table, this time with enhanced straps now that they knew the limits of his strength.

One of the doctors looked over at Professor Car. "What experiment would you like us to run today?"

Professor Car thought it over. "Let's test his healing factor." The man nodded and went to get the proper tools. Car walked over to Peter. "Unfortunately for many of our experiments to work we will not be able to give you pain medication. Sorry about that. Oh, you might be needing this." Before he could protest a cloth was stuffed into Peter's mouth.

Now all he could do was watch helplessly as they stripped him of his clothes and put him into a hospital gown. Then the man came back with the equipment. Peter desperately wanted to escape when he saw what they were going to do. But all he could do was scream into the cloth and cry.

They started by making a slice in his bicep. Then they just sat and waited for it to heal. After 2 hours it had been completely healed so they went onto the next thing. They made a deeper cut, this time going through the muscle. Tears poured from Peter's eyes as he waited in agony for it to heal. This time it took 3 hours.

Next, they broke his arm. This one took the longest to heal so far. After 10 hours the bone had mended itself. It was still bruised but the still counted it as being completely healed and moved on.

The final experiment only got more gruesome. This time they cut off his left foot. This was the first time through the experiments Peter had passed out from the pain. To both the doctor's disappointment and Peter's horror even after 24 hours it never grew back. Peter cried as they started unstrapping him to take him back to his room. He had to be carried given his situation.

Once he was back in his room it was just Peter and Professor Car. Car just smiled at him as he lied on his bed and cried. "Well, at least this will make any escape attempts you were planning a lot harder."

Peter continued to cry once he left. He just wanted to go home. To see Aunt May, it felt like years since they had let him talk to her on the phone. He wanted to see Ned and Michelle, heck he even wanted to see Flash! He also missed the Avengers. They hadn't heard from him in a week, so he was hoping they might think something was wrong. They were his only hope of escape. And it was that hope that he was thinking of as he nodded off into a dreamless sleep.

It had been a week since the tragic loss of Peter's left foot. If the situation had been different he might have held a funeral for it. But he wasn't exactly in the mood right now. They hadn't given Peter any kind of prosthetic limb, so he had to be moved around in a wheelchair to be taken to experiments.

They had been going kind of easy on him since their last experiment hadn't gone as they wanted. They had just taken blood samples and observed his DNA make up. They tested how sensitive to light and sound he was now because of the bite. During that test, they accidentally gave him a sensory overload. But other than that they hadn't done anything too bad. Until today...

Tony was officially in panic mode. Peter had been missing for two weeks now and he had no leads as to where he was. The rest of the Avengers were upset as well, but they knew they had to keep it together for Tony. Peter had almost become like a son to him. They couldn't even imagine how hard this must be for him. Well, they could by the depleting stash of alcohol Tony kept in the tower. They had to find Peter soon. If not for his sake but for Tony's.

Professor Car walked into Peter's room and smiled. "So, how's the foot feeling?" peter just glared at him "Oh I guess it wouldn't be feeling much, would it? But it looks like you are no longer in pain so that is what's important. We need you as healthy as possible for the next experiment." He wheeled the wheelchair over to his bed and strapped him into it.

They reached the experimentation room and Peter was strapped down. Professor Car started disusing what would happen with the other doctors. "Alright, we know from the blood tests that we could easily make a formula to give to soldiers, but we need to make sure that nothing happened to his basic biology. So, we're going to have to give him a vivisection."

(A/N - Thanks for reading guys. Like I said earlier, I'm not super happy with this story, so sorry if this chapter was a little cringy. I promise this isn't my best work. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility.)
