Chapter 2 ~ Dreams*Zaya*
I slowly drifted my tired eyes open, when I saw a slight bright light shining through the dark blue curtain, I groaned in annoyance. Turning over and tugging the blanket further over my head to block out all sorts of light that was irritating my sensitive morning eyes.
"Zaya," I heard A familiar voice whisper. "It's almost noon baby," he whispered as he kissed my forehead. Once again I groan in annoyance because something or in this case someone was disrupting my sleep.
"Wake up princess," Liam says as he lightly shakes me awake.
"Alright! I'm up," I lightly yell as I remove the covers off my head and come in contact with his beautiful chocolate brown eye. I smile and admire his amazing complexion, his bright big smile that takes my thoughts somewhere else. I was not joking when I said I loved him, he made me feel a way no one else could. "But I don't wanna," I pout softening my voice.
"Zaya! Come on, I'm making breakfast!" As soon as those words fell off his lips my eyes shot open with a huge smirk. I jumped right out of bed and ran towards the door.
"Hurry up sleepy head! The FOOD AWAITS!" I state loudly as I make my way towards the washroom.
"WAIT!" Liam yells from behind me causing my head to turn in his direction. I watched as he slowly made his way towards me, and turned me around placing a hand on my waist while pulling me in for a kiss. "Good morning beautiful." Is the last word he spoke before rushing to the kitchen.
The next thing I knew I was in a room filled with laughter. Not just anyone's laugh, but my own, this time it was strange. I was standing there watching myself laugh at the man who had clumsily spilt the orange juice all over himself.
"HAHA so funny!" he replied sarcastically
"What? If you would have just stopped staring at me the juice wouldn't be all over you now would it?" I say while laughing historically.
"I'M SORRY YOUR JUST SO DAMN CUTE I CAN'T HELP IT!" He yells, as I was about to add on to our giggles I was cut off by a phone ringing.
"Hello?" Liam questioned while holding out his pointer finger, signaling me a 'hold that thought'. "Uhh yes... sounds good... I'll be right there!" As soon as those words came out I knew he was called in for work.
"What did they want?" I asked, acting completely oblivious.
"Uhh... he said they need an extra worker. It's apparently crazy busy right now, he said because of the virus thing that's going on people are going crazy and he needs me," he explains as he walks towards the door of our one bedroom apartment. Liam had worked at a grocery store so when things like new viruses spreading came about he had to go in to do his job.
"Okay," I nod.
"Baby, i'm sorry I know it was supposed to be our special day but i'll make it up to you I promise." And with that I was given a long reassuring passionate kiss goodbye.
"I love you," I whisper with a slight smile.
"I love you more beautiful," and off he went down the hall into the elevator.

I jolted upwards breathing in very heavily, remembering what I had dreamt about. Tears fell remembering that last moment I saw him. Most people would have either gaven up by now, or assumed he was dead, but I just can't.
I look at my surroundings and notice that I am still in my car. How long was it out? I remembered that it was daylight when I pulled over, but now it was quite dark. I couldn't help myself but I couldn't get that scene out of my head. Watching him leave smiles and laughs and believing that he'll return. I remember staying up all night for weeks wondering where he went, where he was. Hoping that he would walk through that door and come home to me. But never did, this went on for a bit, I hadn't even realised I was balling my eyes out until the daylight came shining through my windshield.
