THE CASE

Jack's POV: no today was the day of the court case for the custody of the baby and I'm very nervous I know is a wicked thing and sort of selfish of me to take an unborn child from the mother but I can't have us obey my child when I'm going to be getting married to Punzie. which reminds me she also asked me if she could follow me to the court case that day I wanted to refuse but she saw the refusal coming out and then I said yes which she was surprised. When I enter the court, I knew it was only going to be me Elsa Ponzi my lawyer and of course elsa's lawyer because I made it a private court case and also because if I made it public it will ruin business for me and now that I see it's also selfish of me well anyway all I care about right now is getting custody over the baby.
The court case actually lasted for a while my lawyer brought up hard evidence is that also includes blaming Elsa for the fall of the company even though I knew it was clearly just that day that all I wanted right now was that baby and also elsa's loyal brought up evidences to which included the video of the deleted information about the company and also a test that proves that also was indeed holding Jack's child. When I heard that the results came out positive I almost went to Elsa to her stomach again underline almost  . at this point we're already taking a break so as the judge can make his judgement and when we came to hear the results the judgement who was that since both parents on each side were fully capable of taking care of a child Elsa would have the child from when the child was born till when the child was 10 year old and from then on Jack could have the child till when the child was able to live on his or her own. Honestly I was quite happy but also sad that I won't get to see the child first steps and I won't get to hear child first words but considering the years that were given to me I prefer those years it will make our time more memorable.

Elsa's POV: after the court case for the custody of the child which frankly I was unsatisfied with me and Vanessa climb into the car which she drove I sat at the front seat where we were talking about the new job that will be starting on Monday at Joe's corporation then Vanessa saw a red light and she kept going then I told Vanessa that should suppress the breaks down and she told me that the brakes were not working again and in front of us there was an oncoming truck before we knew what happened we were hit and the car tumbled over after that my vision blacked out. the next thing I noticed I was hearing sound and people were rushing around me then I blacked out again.
I woke up to a blinding light when I look around I notice that was in the hospital then I remember the past events how me and Vanessa was in the car and we had a ghastly accident the first thing that came to my mind was the baby and immediately I screamed and some nurses rushed in and the only thing I was saying what's the my baby and I still continue to ask for my baby until the doctor gaming and told me that the baby was fine but there were some minor difficulties and during the day of birth we have to do C-section. So normally I was bent on having a natural and normal delivery but this is way shin brought me to the point that if I didn't do the c-section which was as equally risky I could die.
I started crying but then I immediately remembered that Vanessa was also in the car with me and asked where she was

I'm sorry ma'am but your friend couldn't make it, she died on the way to the hospital.

The doctor said. I couldn't talk, I couldn't even begin to phantom life without my best friend. I cried that night. The next day one of the nurses told me that I had a visitor and when she left Anna rushed in and hugged me saying that she got a message from Vanessa saying that we all needed to talk but went to Jack's house and thought that I was around but when she entered she saw another woman on his lap and when she called his name he greeted her and she returned the favor with a slap and left without any explanation, she asked for where Vanessa was but I told her that she was dead and she slid on the floor. This just made me realize that not all good things last long. As a person that loved Jack I tried to last forever but unfortunately i couldn't and just after 2 months he could not wait and he was already getting married. I guess I shouldn't expect so much from people especially people like Jack. I'm gonna take Vanessa's advice, I don't need him with me no do I need his money or anything from him I am ready to fight for myself and if possible I'll be a single mother well that until I inevitably give my child to Jack because of the f****** custody has over the child to be honest I felt like giving Jack a second chancebecause I thought the reason for his annoyance was because I left him or rather he thought I left him phone Jeffrey but now I hate him
