☼ 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔 ☼ t.oikawa! x reader!

'𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋'

y/n's pov

me and oikawa finally said our goodbyes and headed home. i got the keys from my bag and slowly unlocked my door. my family greeted me near the doorway with warm smiles. a chorus of "hi's" were heard. 

"how was your day cutie-pie?" your mother asked. 

"it was good, i guess. i made a new friend!" your lips curved up, forming a smile. you were always used to the nicknames your parents gave you. to you it was a small form of love coming out from there beaming hearts. yes, it might've sounded childish at times, but at least your family is trying to show their fondness for you.

"oh really? who's this 'special' friend of yours?" she grinned 

"h-his name is oikawa." your smile broaden from hearing the name.

"that's great honey! why don't you get changed so we can eat dinner?" she suggested. 

you nodded and made your way to your room to get some new clothes. you picked out some grey joggers that felt quite soft and comfortable on your legs. you found a simple cropped white shirt with a japanese print on it. 

'ソフトガール ' is what it wrote.  (soft girl in eng) 

you absolutely loved this shirt since the fabric felt great against your skin, not to mention the design. you were quite soft. your personality consisted of being tender, sweet and a vulnerable girl. that is how you acted around people you weren't quite familiar with. around your family you were fairly different.  you were more cheerful, a bit loud at times, and talkative. you enjoyed being like that but you were always afraid people would distance themselves from you because of your talkative side, so you remained quiet. 

after you finished taking care of yourself you headed downstairs to meet your beautiful family downstairs to eat dinner. on the table were homemade onigiri, miso soup, udon and yakitori. 

"hey, y/n? are you going to sign up for the volleyball club this year?" your 15 year old brother simply asked.

you shrugged. 

"maybe i will, maybe i won't, i don't know if i wanna continue playing this year" you spoke with a sigh while looking down at your food.
