I had traversed for many miles and all through the night, but there was no sign of the witch. The sun had come up, showering the kingdom in a hazy glow. I was starving and I hadn't thought to bring any food with me. Plus, my feet hurt like hell. I didn't have any "witch finding" shoes, so I had to settle with pink low heels.

I stopped at a rock and sat down, resting my weary feet. I kicked off my shoes, sighing loudly as I did so. I had probably woken up every living thing within a ten mile radius. And to make matters worse, the green color was now on my arm slightly, clashing horribly with the pink color of my dress.

Then, a pleasant aroma filled the air. It smelled like lavender and chamomile. I turned to see a quaint cottage behind a series of trees. Desperate, I crept towards it, knowing that the person inside would welcome me in. After all, I was the princess.

I knocked on the door and waited for a few moments.

I knocked again.

And again.

And again.

"What?" A voice yelled from inside.

"Let me in!" I yelled back.

I heard the lock click a few times as the door opened. The woman behind it seemed to be an interesting person. Her long, raven-colored hair was draped over her shoulder loosely. She was dressed in all black, like another person I had met. Even her lips had a dark black sheen to them.

"Go away," she huffed before shutting the door.

"How ungrateful!" I shouted. "That's not the way you talk to your princess, now is it?"

She opened the door again. "My apologies, your highness," she said sarcastically. "Please go away."

Before she could shut it again, I held the door with my hand. "Look, I don't like this either, but I've been travelling for a long time and I'm starving. You're my only option."

"If I let you in and feed you, will you leave me alone afterwards?" she asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

The door swung open, almost hitting me in the face. I walked inside to see the interior of her cottage. It was quite dark and very little light came through. The decorations had a gothic feel to them, with a few skulls here and there. They all seemed rather spooky to me. Especially the cauldron that was in the middle of it all.

Cauldron.

"Wait a minute, are you the Witch of the East Mountains?" I asked.

"I prefer Jisoo, but yes." She poured something into her cauldron, making it bubble.

"Oh thank the Lord!" I grabbed her arm. "You have to help me!"

"Jesus Christ, I'm already feeding you. Calm down." She rolled her eyes.

"I don't care about that!" I said. "I need you to fix this!"

I showed her my arm, which was only partially covered by the green color. Thankfully, the process was slow, so if you weren't looking, you wouldn't see the nasty swamp tone. She looked at it for a moment, but then shrugged.

"You want me to get green paint off your arm?" She raised an eyebrow.

"No!" I whined. "It's not paint. This fairy cursed me and now my skin is turning green and I'm going to get married soon and I can't walk down the aisle looking like a damn goblin!"

She eyed me up and down. "You know why this happened to you, right?"

I shook my head.

"You're a brat."

"What did you just say?" My eyes narrowed.

"You heard me," she said. "You're a brat. B-R-A-T. You know what that means?"

"I'm not stupid!" I fired back.

"Never said that you were."

"You're treating me like a child!"

"Can you blame me? You throw temper tantrums when you don't get your way." She looked me straight in the eye. "Seems childish to me."

"Fuck you," I hissed.

"I'm not crazy about you either," she scoffed. "But if you don't like me at all, then why are you here?"

"Because I need you to fix this!" I yelled, gesturing to my arm.

Jisoo chuckled. "Yeah, I'm not helping you there."

"Excuse me?" I questioned. "I am your princess."

"You know what else you are?" she shouted. "You're an egotistical, pompous, spoiled, arrogant, self-centered little girl who needs to grow the hell up."

I was fuming at this point. "My father will hear about this!"

"Daddy can't solve all your problems, princess," she said. "Some you have to solve on your own. Like the green on your arm."

"I don't have magic, so I can't solve it!"

"You don't need magic for that."

"But Faybelle said-"

"Faybelle was the one who cursed you?" she laughed. "Damn, you must really be a brat."

"Don't call me that!" I snapped.

"Or what?" Jisoo challenged. "Daddy can't hear you from up here."

I sighed. "Just tell me how to fix this and I'll be on my way."

"I could, but what's the fun in that?" She smirked. "You're going to have to work for it."

"Manual labor? Absolutely not." I folded my arms.

"Suit yourself, Goblin Princess."

I turned away, ready to walk out the door, but I soon realized something. If I didn't do what Jisoo said, I'd be dethroned. My parents would disown me. I would lose everything. My riches, my crown, my prince, all of it. Plus, no one wants to be around a girl who has green skin.

"Fine!" I caved. "What do you want me to do?"
