Brett POV

"Hello?" I answered Eddy's call while looking at Nicole half lying on the single sofa.

"Bro, what's up?"

I ignored what he just said. "Sure, I'll ask my friend to come with us."

"Huh? Come where? I'm practicing bro." He asked confused. I couldn't blame him though.

"Ok. Club3wm. We'll meet you there. Tell others to come as well. See ya bro."

"Brett! What are you talki-", but I ended the call before he even finished talking. Hoping to God he really comes through.

I looked at Nicole who has been eyeing me the whole conversation.

"Dress up! We're going clubbing!!"

Her eyes wide. "Ohhhh nooooo."

"Please?! We're leaving soon. We can't hang out for at least a year! Please. Please. Please?"

"But I have to shower, prepare and everything! Why don't you just go ahead?"

"Noooo. I'm waiting for you. Get going!!"

She huffed and rolled off the couch before standing up and making a beeline to her room.

As soon as she left her room, I already regretted scheming this plan. I was left speechless and wide-eyed.

"Brett, let's go!"

"You have to change Nicole."

She looked down on her dress, keenly ironing with her hands all the non existent wrinkles on her clothing.

"I.. I'm sorry if this isn't good enough  I don't have any other clothes. I didn't pack clothes for clubbing."

Dammit. She got it very wrong.

"You look perfect Nicole." And she really did. She wore a white, skin tight dress with thin spaghetti straps, her dress hanging just below her ass.

"I.. it's just that other guys would be... damn. I would just have to watch over you like a hawk. Damn."

I was already anxious about tonight. But when she turned around to lock the door, I almost had a heart attack. Her ass shaped like a perfect heart. With that tight dress, there was no space for..

"Please tell me you're wearing underwear Nicole. Please. Just please."

I knew the answer immediately when her face blushed crimson.

"The dress is too tight. I didn't want panty lines."

I took a deep breath and clenched my fist to remain calm.

"Can you at least put a coat?"

"Really? A coat?? It's summer Brett."

She reopened the door and took an oversized denim jacket at tied it around her waist.

"Better??"

"Yes!!!! Thank you! Let's go"

Nicole POV

I lined up at the bathroom not really needing to use it but to seek refuge from all the things happening around me. Brett was amazing, I feel envious of his ability to talk to everyone and just have fun. His ex coworkers from the orchestra came and partied with us. He introduced me to a lot of people making my head spin in the process, some faces even familiar from my workplace.

Suddenly, I saw a familiar figure at the corner of my eye. I smiled at him, with excitement and relief.

"Eddy!" I whispershouted.

He immediately turned around, a big grin spread on his face when he finally saw me. He looked like a man on a mission while he made his way to me, maneuvering through other people in between us.

"Hi Eddy! Missed me?" I teased him.

"So damn much." He whispered against my ear while his hand grazed against the fabric of my dress on my hips, his long fingers brushing against my backside.

I looked up to him, knowing that his intense eyes would be staring at me.

But he was gone.

I swung my head back, and saw Eddy on the floor equally shocked, rubbing his jaw.

"Don't fucking touch her!" I hear Brett shout from the other side.

The crowd moved aside.

"Bro!" Brett ran to Eddy with a frantic expression on his face.
"What the hell, mate!"  Eddy shouted, pissed.
"Bro, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you!"
Eddy wiped the blood of his lip. "What's your problem, man?! You don't go swinging punches on anybody, even if it's not me."
Brett pulled him up but Eddy pushed his body off the floor by himself, revealing a busted lip.
Brett in panic, ran up to the bar and got some napkins and ice.

Eddy sat on a stool near them, Brett hovering over him and apologizing again and again.

"I'm fine Eddy. Just go mingle. Your guests are getting bored."

Brett begrudgingly left Eddy. Eddy stood up, he seemed like he was looking for somebody so I waved my hand to catch his attention.

He walked towards me.

"Is your face alright?" I asked concerned.

"Yeah, it's fine. I don't really like the crowd. Let's go somewhere else?"

I nodded, and once again left with Eddy.
