Chapter 6: Happy Birthday

"Happy Birthday Sora!" Elizabeth kissed her daughter's forehead. It was Sora's thirteenth birthday. " You're such a big girl now..A teen!" Elizabeth's eyes water up and kisses her forehead again. " Thanks mom. So who's coming to my party later?" Sora hugged her mom. " Well..Alec is coming to the party and Mikey, and that is all I'm telling you." She smiled at Sora and patted her head. Sora was now blushing..she has such a big crush on Alec. "Oh that's cool." She tried to act it cool hiding her true emotions. " So get ready because it starts at noon!" Her mother walks out of the room and blows her a kiss. The minute when Elizabeth left the room Sora got out of bed as quick as possible. "Oh my god..! He's coming...I can't believe it!" She danced around the room and checked her clock. The clock read 11:30. "I gotta be quick! I have to look nice for him." She undressed quickly and jumped into the shower.

Sora got out of the shower in 15 minutes. "Now it's time to look for my clothes! Time to call the....FASHION PATROL!" She screeched to the entire house. (Doesn't this ring a bell? hehe) Two small figures walk over to her room. One girl wearing a black jacket with a red dress and tights completed with red Vans. The other girl wearing a grey cardigan with red jeans and blue converse. "Fashion patrol for duty mam'n!" The two said in unison. "Julie I want you to pick out my shoes." She pointed at the shoes in the corner. "Now Macy find me a dress,bottoms,tops anything to make me look good!" she pointed at her closet. The two girls saluted their big sister and started to find something fabulous. Julie the one wearing the red Vans walked over to her sister holding black Converse. "Are these fine?" She showed the Converses to her sister. "Good! Nice one Jules!" She hugged her sister and patted her head. Next is Macy the one with the grey cardigan walking to her sister with a blue jacket and some jeans. " Is this okay?" she put the clothes in Sora's hand and smiles at her. " Of course Macy!" She kissed her forehead and hugged her. "Thanks guys! Now I gotta change so would you please leave the room?" She asked her sisters politely. The two girls nodded and walked out of the room.

Fifteen minutes have passed. The party guests are already here. Sora opens the door in her jacket and jeans completed with her black Converse and walks downstairs. All her cousins were there Junior,Adiah,Angelo,Dan,Curtis,Prim,and Lucas. She was so happy and hugged everyone. All of her cousins pulled her aside. "You know...that we know that he's coming right?" Adiah giggled. Sora nodded and blushed. " Keep cool and don't be awkward like always" Junior chuckled as he said his comment. "So funny Junior..." She punched him on the shoulder. Junior was wincing in pain. " SORA HE'S HERE!" Prim pointed at Alec and Mikey and all the cousins disbanded. "Hey Sor!" Alec waved to Sora not too far away. Alec was wearing a leather jacket with blue jeans and some black Sketchers. "H-hi Alec." She blushed as she walked over to him. Mikey was behind Alec and wanted all the attention. "Hey Sora!" He pushed Alec out of the way and talked to Sora. Mikey really liked Sora but she didn't in return. "Um...Hi Mikey....I have to talk to Alec..." She pulled Alec from the arm and headed out to the backyard. Mikey was furious and sat on the couch by himself. All of the kids except for Mikey were outside hanging out. " I wonder what they're doing..." Lucas wondered as Alec and Sora were alone. " Maybe they're going to kiss." Curtis snickered along with the others. Sora pulled Alec into a shed that was in the backyard. " Why are we here?" Alec questioned with a confused look on his face. " I have to tell you something..." She looked down at the floor admiring Alec's shoes. "What is it?" He smiled at her cute face. " I like you" She mumbled. " I feel the same way...." He cupped her face and pressed his lips onto hers. Sora gasped and blushed...she was dreaming about this day since they were three. Then the door opened.."Woah..." The boy said as he saw the two kiss. Alec and Sora released the kiss and saw the person at the door. " Oh hey Mikey..." Alec looking at Mikey getting more furious. " Ugh...you know what. I don't care." He scoffed and walked away more angry. "Thanks for the kiss Al." She winked at Alec and kissed him on the cheek and leaves the shed. Alec now standing there blushing from the kiss he got.
