I woke up In the morning and it was windy, I had to go out and get the woods for cooking tho I know mum has went to fetch water and grandma was still asleep because she came back late yesterday from the club.
I took my headscarf and I went out ,as I was fetching fire wood a young hansome man came and asked me of Miss Amrah Adamu Yusuf and I told home I was the one ,HE said he was from THE EMPIRE HIGH SCHOOL .He gave An envelope and asked me to sign a paper I did As commanded, I opened it and it was stated
"Miss Amrah A Yusuf you ve been given scholarship into The EMPIRE HIGH SCHOOL" I ran into the house to show my mum about. We jubilated and danced my mum was so proud of me ,when grandma heard the noise she came down and asked of what was happening ,I told her everything but because we don't get along with her she smirked and went out
