First time is my life

From a distance, it was heard a loud panting of a girl gasping for air and heavy footsteps of men coming after her.

huh huh huh huh
clomp---clomp---clomp---

She couldn't run any more,but she had to. Though she felt that her legs had already given up, she did run to survive.

She paused just for a moment to breathe. It's not that there was time to spare, yet that's what she did. She heard them coming to get her faster this time. Her adrenaline level rose up in no time. At the same time, she was overwhelmed by the fear of getting caught. She began to run with all that was left within her.

It was around 9 p.m. and the path which she was taking was dark with no lights. All she had was the moonlight. She couldn't say how many times she stumbled,but she stood up because she wanted to live more than ever. Finally, she came to a halt. She had to because it was the end of the path.

"May be the end of my life too." She thought to herself.

All she needed was some quick thinking. She looked around.

"There should be a way." She muttered, still panting.

From the right side, she could see a wall made of roofing sheets and nothing beyond that. From the left....

She heard them really close this time ,but she could neither backdown nor proceed and she was out of time.Her heart was pounding faster, she could feel that in every vein.She looked back just to see their tall shadows emerging through the darkness .She was terrified. She gulped down her awkwardness closing her eyes shut.

And then, when she was about to lose hopes,unintentionally she looked at the left direction just to see a footpath which led to an abandoned house. It wasn't visible a few minutes ago,but thankfully She saw it at the nick of time. Even her own eyes were playing a game with her. Anyhow, it was her escape she ran towards it.

She was literally shaking with fear. Even after reaching the house, it was the same. She placed her hand at the door, still panting. To her surprise the door was opened wide with just a mere touch.

She entered the house. It was pitch black in there ,but she could map the surroundings with her instincts. As she came through the front door, she was currently in the living room, and from the left, she could see some glittering silvery spoons, so it wasn't difficult to recognize it. It was the kitchen area.

She ran towards the kitchen, but doing so, she slipped as she missed the few steps to the kitchen. Her legs were bruised ,yet she managed to stand up and crawl into the space between the kitchen wall and the refrigerator.

She ended up there not having any strength to move an inch. She folded her hands, praying for God.

" Save me please......save me,"

As she expected it didn't take long . She could hear the footsteps around the house. A cold shiver ran through her spine. She was shivering from head to toe. When she heard the creaking sound at the door, she knew she was dead for sure. They were entering the house taking small steps just to end her life fast.

" Where do you think you are going?"

A rough voice came through the darkness, and the men who were approaching her stopped in their tracks, and it was the dead silence then.

" Didn't you hear?"It was him again.

By the time her eyes had gotten used to the darkness.As well as a beam of moonlight was coming from the side window. She could see three tall figures. Two standing and one sitting on a sofa.

" Seems you don't talk with words. You ask for this"

Then, in a sudden reaction the two men were attacking the one who was sitting,but they were no match for him. He was fast enough to flee from the sofa before they could make a move. The girl closed her eyes shut, not wanting to see what was happening around. All she could hear was the sound of men wincing in pain.

Hearing them ,others who were patrolling around the house came for their help.

"This is not fair.Ten against one
Not fair at all, " She heard a taunting voice say.

" Attack him."It was a command from the leader.

" You do know how to talk." That was another taunt from the guy.

With that start, they started fighting with each other. She didn't see much of the battle but heard things for sure. Shattering,gritting, getting hits,crying..... The whole scinario itself was like a nightmare to her. From the very beginning till now.

Within a few minutes,probably the leader of the gang screamed and talked in pain.

" Enough,enough."
" We don't have any issue with you."

The man barely uttered.

" Really?You are a little late, though." The manly voice teased him again.

" Let go of my hand.........please." He begged him

" You should have asked before." He let out a letting himgo.

" We came after a girl," The leader started to explain him

" eh" He cut them off.

" I'm not interested in hearing ramblings. Do you think I won't notice any random girl sliding inside my house? Woh!unbelievable. "

" Boys ... backdown. Let's go searching her. Split up"

The leader said his men.

" Really,are they going away?"

Finally, she let out a sigh of relief. Her senses were coming back to her.

"Wow,it was close,"

Suddenly, the whole area was illuminated with a dimmed light, and she could see the male God standing there in the living room. Her eyes roamed everywhere and observed every move of him. He was out of beer ,so he was coming towards the kitchen, which brought her to the harsh reality that she is still not safe.

He stopped at the sink just to pour a glass of water and gulped it down with a go.Beeds of sweat were flawing along his well-built body.

She shouldn't have done that ,instead she should have been thinking of a way out here ,but that's what she did.

He was about 6 feet tall, and his abbs were visible even through the sweaty undershirt.

He poured another glass of water and brought it to his mouth and halted in the midway.

" Are you planning on staring at me all night?"

💣" What?? Did he know that I was here all this time???"😨

Saying so, he turned back and looked straightly at her with an unshakeable glare in his eyes and started inching towards her.

She was shocked and terrified seeing him do that ,and as a sudden reaction She stood up just to meet with his fierce eyes. He slowly leaned forward.

" First time in my life, I met the death twice."
