It was better than a date

Her knee was bleeding , but he never gave her a second look before slamming the door. She was hurt. Her feelings were hurt. A warm tear escaped along her cheeks. She stood up with some efforts and grabbed her stuffs wiping tears. She never cried all through her journey, but as soon as she was in her room she broke down.

"I didn't meant to do wrong. My intention  was pure. Then why......then why?......looks are really decieving.  He is not what he seems to be."

" You jerk,the devil,the beast ."
(Her crying was  subsiding little  by little.)

" I'm never going there ever again. Let him starve and die I will never look at him."

" That jerk ,why does it have to be so rude. It could have just asked polietly."

" I'm going to forget everything.  I never knew him."

She let out her  anger on him and calmed down gradually.  It was already been a month since that incident , and by then she had understood her own fault and regretted.

"It was totally my fault.  He was well  clear and ask me to go and never show up again, but I did  exactly the opposite.  I  feel guilty of my doing. He was not wrong but the way he treated me was........ Maybe he is regretting  too."

" Then he must be feeling how  his own medicine works too.😈"

"Though she said she would forget she remembered  him every single day and went through mood swings whenever. She thought deeper and had lot more conversations with her inner self."

😔"I'm a loner too. Other than ajumma ,the lady at the store and Min Seok, I don't have anyone to associate in here.I could have gone mad if I never met those kids at least once a week. So I feel pity on him and want to......"

😠"What ?seriously? Are you out of your mind. Don't dare going there. He was clear enough  for me."

😔" But still I feel,I wanna go see him."

😠" Do you have a death wish? Why do you keep looking  for danger? Does this make any sense to you. What it matters right now is earning a living and looking  after your family,isn't it?"

😔" It's all true ,but I feel sad whenever I think of him."

😡" Why would you risk your life?Do you know a single thing about him. This is not like you."
😌" May be he was right. It must have become a habbit of me,keep looking for danger."

😤" Okay...look. He did save your life. It's true,but you have already  done enough.  So just let it go."

😐" Why am I like this?I don't see him as a potential man. Is it because I have a special  spot for him in my heart?

But Jia clearly  knew that she cannot  just go there.

"  ya....forget it Jia...forget it"

She was so busy with her current part time jobs she almost forgot him. One day her manager asked if she can deliver a  "gimbap" order for a get together. She was in need of some money she though it's good. She recieved the address.

" BS group,no98, Jongo Avenue,Yong Dong  "

" what? Yong Dong!!! He lives there."

Her inner self....." Jia...do not😡"

" it's not that I'm going there to visit him. No way"

At 11.30 a.m.

" I came this far.....let's pay him a visit. It's not that I force myself to come down here to his area" ( with a grin)

" knock knock aybody home.

She checked the time

It's 11.30....oh....he is out at this hour."

Flashback.....

She paused for a second. 

" Earlier  he was not pleased when I cleaned the living room. That means I cannot move things away. Then how am I suppose  to help him?"

" what in the world why would I help him? He is not a baby"

Just then her gaze landed on the waste bin and it was  only filled with food wrappers. That gave her a hint.

" I'll make him his lunch. A proper  meal. Then he will feel bad of what he did. This is my style of taking revenge."

She went to the nearest grocery  store and brought  down necessary  things. She cooked rice and some dishes including  egg roles. There was one extra box of gimbap. She kept that too. She was happy with what she did and stuck a note for him to read before leaving.

"She couldn't  stop smiling  for a while.The landlady ajumma ask whether she went on a date with some random guy. All she said was..

" It was better than a date."
