I'm sitting in the the lounge room the Hot 107.9.

I'm actually nervous as fuck.

Our practice didn't go so well. Well my practice didn't go so well...Carmen was perfect.

"Bronny do you want anything to eat or drink your looking a little-?" Kimberly asks

"I'm fine Kim." I say but my voice cracks showing that I'm clearly not okay

"Bronny." Carmen says now in front of me

She reaches her hand out and I take it following her into the hallway.

"What's up with you?" She asks concerned

"I'm just nervous...like really nervous."

She picks up my shaking hands.

"Breathe okay. In...out...in...our!" She says trying to calm me down

After I find my composure I laugh.

"Why are you so nervous anyway? You play games infront of hundreds, thousands of people."

"I just don't wanna say anything dumb to ruin your reputation." I say and she gives me a pout

"Your gonna do great! Okay nothing to worry about." She says and I nod

We walk into the recording room and the durtty boys look us up and down.

I start to tense up a bit before they break out into laughter.

"How you doin young blood?" A chubbier lightskin man says to me

He reaches out his hand and I dab him up.

"I'm straight." I say and he nods

"Yo!" Another dude calls out and I focus my attention on him

He had his hand held out and I dabbed him up too. I take my seat by Carmen.

She was talking to Kimberly about some posts on social media.

I pull out my phone trying not to look as awkward as I feel.

I open Instagram and find myself just scrolling and liking pictures.

"Okay y'all kids ready?" The lightskin dude asks and Carmen nods

"Got to letem know it's Hot 107.9 and your listening to the Durtty boys. Today we got the two hottest kids out right now! Carmen Faith and Bronny James! Happy y'all could make it." The lightskin dude says

"Happy to be here!" Carmen says smiling.

"So Carmen you have been in the acting business for a while! What's that like?"

"It's been a roller coaster. But I love it! It's what I do it's my passion."

"Your parents must be proud!" The darker guy said.

I could see Carmens face go down for a second but she continued to smile.

I guess she couldn't come up with a response so it was quiet for a second.

"Oh my bad I forgot. The whole emancipation thing. Tell us more about that!" He continues

He really didn't have to bring that shit up.

"W-well things just weren't working out. I-"

"What do you mean not working out?" The lightskin dude adds

"We had disagreements on how much money I would be receiving. A lot of my money wasn't going to me."

"Wouldn't you want your mother to be taken care of?" The dark skin guy adds
