I begin to freak out. I run downstairs to Peeta. "Peeta the pearl. It's gone!" I say crying. Rose rushed down stairs. "What's wrong?" She asks. I'm curled up in Peeta's lap. "Your mother lost something from her past." Peeta says. "Oh.." Rose says. "Shh.. It's ok Katniss." Peeta tries to clam me. "But it's not Peeta! That was the thing you gave me before you were taken away..." I say in between sobs. "Katniss. Look up." He tells me. I look up and see the pearl. "What?" I say confused. "I went to a jeweler and he made your pearl into a ring." He says. "Its beautiful." I say. "Thank you."
I kiss him forgetting Rose was in the room. "Mom! Dad eww!" She screeches. Peeta and I laugh. Just to bother her I kiss him again. "Ok, I'm going back to my room." She walks up stairs. Peeta and I continue or laughing with our foreheads touching.
"Peeta." I say. "Yeah Katniss." He says as we lay down on our bed. "Do you want more children?" I ask. He turns on his side. I do too. "I do. But do you?" Peeta asks. "Yeah I do." I say. "Is there a time you had in mind?" Peeta asks. "There is one." I say. "When?" He asks. "Tonight. Rose is at her friends house." I say. "Then ok."
THE NEXT MORNING
"Peeta!" I whisper into his ear. "What.." He moans. "I'm going to the apothecary shop. Be right back." I say. "Mhm..." He falls back asleep. I get dressed and go to the apothecary shop. I quickly buy a pregnancy test and dash home. I go home and take the test. Positive. I let out a sigh of relief. Peeta is a wake now. "Peeta.. I'm pregnant." He jumps out of bed and hugs me tight. "Katniss I'm so happy!" He says keeping a tight squeeze on me. "I am too
