"Wha...What?" i say in between sobs."He is Missing and he left a note." Haymitch hands me a note. It says:" Katmiss Im sorry. I realize you want to be with Gale. i wont bother you anymore.Let your ring sink in a river. Leave my things anywhere but at your house. I wish you the best in life, Peeta." Now Im bawling screaming Peeta's name." Haymitch where is Rose?" I ask. " She is at my house with Hazelle." He says. "Can she stay with you. I need to find peeta." I say. he nods and leaves me. i go home and pack whatever I have left of Peeta and clothing. I look at the ring he gave me when he proposed. Its gold with the word "Real" engraved on it. With flames around the word. Peeta's ring engraved with "real or not real."
I dont know where to go.I get on a train to 4. Im going to Annie's. The train ride is a day. I get into my comartment and unpack my things. I get out the Pearl Peeta gave me on the sandy beach in the arena. As we watched,what seemed to be the last sunset we would ever see. I take a wedding picture out and hold it close. A tear slides down my cheek and on to the picture.
I want my boy with the bread. and yet again he is slipping away from me. No. I need him. I cant live without him. I said so myself. I love him, and I cant let him leave now.
