Getting Lost

Will and the boys play D&D in Mikes basement. "What's that?" Mike says in a calm voice. "Is it the thesallhydra?" Dustin asks Lucas. "Its not the thesallhydra." Lucas replies to Dustin. Will looks at Mike and stares... Dustin and Lucas's arguing starts blurring as Will stares into Mikes brown eyes. "Its the thesallhydra!" Mike exclaims. Will shakes his head and groan with the rest of the group. "Will, your move!" Mike says to Will. Dustin and Lucas look at Will. "What should I do?" Will asks them. Dustin shrugs. "Forcefield!" Lucas replies.

Will looks at Mike and then Dustin. "Fireball him!" Dustin exclaims loudly. Will grabs the die and throws it. "Fireball!" The die rolls onto the floor and all the boys jump after it. "Where is it?" Mike says to himself. Karen Wheeler opens the door and looks at Mike. "Alright boys. Time to go." Mike looks up at her.  "Not now mom we're in the middle of a campaign." She puts her hands on her hips. "Its been more than 10 hours, how long is the campaign?" Mike stands up and walks upstairs.

"Does a 7 count?" Will asks Lucas. "No." Lucas replies and walks away. Will walks upstairs with Lucas and Mike. "Do any of you guys want the last piece of pizza?" Dustin asks everyone. All the boys say no and continue walking. Lucas rides his bike home with Dustin. Will squeezes his bike handle and looks at Mike. "It was a 7..." Mike looks at Will and tilts his head. "The die... It was a 7." Will releases the handle and looks at Mike. "Its okay Will. We'll continue after school tomorrow." He says to him. Will nods and gets on his bike. "Bye Mike." Will says to him. He waves and walks inside.

Will rides his bike across the neighborhood. A black figure walks in front of him. It growls and causes Will to crash his bike into a tree. Will screams and leaves his bike behind as he runs home. Will's dog starts barking as he slams the door closed behind. He locks the door and watches the black figure walk in front of the door. Will couldn't do anything but run outside through the back door. The things growling starts getting louder as he heads to a shed in back. Lights around him start to flicker on and off. Will whimpers and screams as the growling surrounds him.
