Missing Will

Mike's POV
I squeeze the ketchup bottle onto my plate of eggs as my mom, Karen, starts babying my sister Hollie. "Ew, that's disgusting." My older sister, Nancy, says to me. "You're disgusting." I reply to her.

I get on my bike and ride to school. I could see Dustin and Lucas, but no Will... Odd he's usually here. "Maybe he's early to class." Dustin says. "Or maybe he's sick." Lucas replies to Dustin. I get off my bike and park it.

After school...

"Joyce?" Karen says on the phone. I look at her and tilt my head. "No, he went home yesterday." Will... I say in my head. "Of course, Joyce." Karen puts the phone back on the wall and looks at me. "Will is missing, the cops are gonna try to find him." I walk to my room and grab my walkie talkie. "Code red! I repeat! Code red!" I say into the walkie.

Dustin's POV
I get on my bike and ride to Mikes. "What's the problem Mike?" I ask him. "Where's Lucas?" Mike asks me. Lucas rides his bike into the yard and runs over to us. "Something wrong?" Lucas asks Mike. "Come inside." Mike says to me and Lucas.

"Will is missing! And my mom says I have to stay in for safety." Mike says. "Will's missing?" Lucas replies. "We can't just stay and let our friend get lost like this!" Mike exclaims. "We have to go look for him." Me and the boys get our raincoats and boots on.

We ride our bikes to murkwood and stop. Mike and Lucas get off their bikes and walk into the forest. "Guys? We should leave! Its wet and cold. And I don't want to get sick." I say to them but they don't stop. "Come on Dustin!" Mike exclaims. I groan and get off my bike.

Lucas's POV
The boys and I walk into the first and turn our lights on. "Will!" Mike screams. I look around and listen. "Byers!" Dustin exclaims. We listen to the silence turn into rustling. We move our lights in front of us. "Will?" I whisper. Dustin gasps as a girl walks in front of us and stares.
