Chapter Thirteen: Five Things
"You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there."
Louis Cole

To say that Dorea was on edge would be an understatement. Did she have a crush on Charlus Potter? Yes. Did she want to date him? Of course! Did she want her friends involved? Absolutely not.

Still, Holly Renée was stubborn and the girl was not about to give up on fixing the two up. Their plan was subtle, just speaking highly of Dorea when Charlus was in the room.

"If it wasn't for Dorea, I would've failed that test," Ali would say, "I swear that girl is a genius."

"Dorea agreed to come with me to help me pick out a dress for my date this weekend," Eleanor spoke loud enough that Charlus would be able to hear.

"Don't we have a test tomorrow?" Holly asked, playing along and Eleanor shrugged.

"You know Dorea, she'd do anything for her friends," Eleanor said, "she's selfless."

Or Holly's personal favorite,

"Hi, you're Potter, right?" A small Hufflepuff first year spoke quietly. Charlus looked down at the little girl and nodded. "Can you give this to Dorea for me? I have a really bad memory and everyone makes fun of me because I'm still struggling to find my classes, but she was really nice and showed me where to go." The girl spoke quickly and by a stroke of luck, Charlus was able to understand what she was saying.

"Yeah, sure." He smiled and the girl skipped away. When Dorea came over, Charlus passed her the note, but kept his hand on it for a second. "The little girl said that you helped her to class? That was very sweet of you." Dorea shrugged, but turned slightly pink under his stare.

"It was nothing," she smiled, "anyone would've done it."

"But they didn't." He pointed out, letting go of the letter and turning back to Lyall and Rubeus. He paused, thinking for a moment before turning back to her. "Would you like to come to Hogsmeade with me?"

"I still can't believe you got a letter from the Matchmaker." Remus said as the four boys walked towards potions class.

"The good news is, if Prongs is staying away from Lily, we have more time to focus on finding Holly Renée." Sirius pointed out as they walked into the classroom. As usual, they walked in just in time for class to start.

"Today, we are going to review the polyjuice potion." Slughorn said. "Can anyone tell me what the polyjuice potion does?"

"Changes the physical appearance of one person to make them look like someone else." Lily said and James jolted up, as if only then listening to the conversation. Quickly, he took a pen and paper out, writing a quick message to Sirius.

If we can't find this woman, we need a backup plan. Why don't we polyjuice ourselves into looking like her so we can talk to Lily.

Sirius read the paper, quickly glancing at Emma to make sure she couldn't see what he was writing before scribbling a response and sending it back.

Are you willing to give up the chance to solve the mystery on who Holly Renée is?

For Lily, yes.

Sirius took the paper and turned to Remus, slowly levitating it towards him. Remus grabbed the note and read over each sentence before rolling his eyes and writing a quick response.
