I sighed as I pressed send and locked my phone. I stood up from my current spot and grabbed my dark blue sweatshirt and black vans.

"Ugh where the fuck is my board!" I yelled in frustration , I ran into my bedroom finding it sitting at the foot of my bed. I grabbed it and my keys and walked out of my apartment . I began skating towards the coffee shop down the street, the one me and Marshall went to the first time we ever hung out.

I pushed the door open being greeted by an aroma of coffee smells and warmth, I took the scene in and walked up to the cashier ordering a peppermint hot chocolate. I grabbed the drink and handed the girl behind the counter the 4 dollars for the hot cocoa and looked around. I paused seeing the familiar mop of dark messy hair sitting in our main corner booth. I approached and sat a cross from him.

"Hi Marshall" I whispered awkwardly "how are you?"

"I feel like shit fi, not only do I have the worst fucking hangover ever but I've also managed to fuck up any chance with you and our friendship too" he said still holding his head in his hands, "can we go somewhere else fi? Like on a walk? I need air" he also said actually putting effort to look up at me.

I nodded "first off , sure we can and second you haven't fucked anything up. "

We stood up from the booth and walked out of the small coffee shop

"Fi, I messed everything up, I know I did" he said looking over at me with deep bags under his eyes.

"Marshall you didn't I promise." I looked back at him with a reassuring smile.

"Fi?" He asked while biting his lip

"Yes Marshall?"

"Can I kiss you?" He asked still biting his lip and looking at me. I nodded with an awkward smile. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck, he looked down at me his nerves clearly displayed across his features. I stood on my tippy toes and closed my eyes slowly. Within a few seconds I felt the same pair of soft lips I felt the first day I met him. I smiled into the kiss and kissed back. That small kissed turned into us standing in the coffee shop parking lot, making out for what seemed to be 5 minutes.

We finally broke apart for air our foreheads resting against each others

"I'm sorry" Marshall whispered before sprinting off.

God, I swear that guy has more mood swings than a teenage girl. I don't even get to show him that message....
