Ethan Nakumara found himself sneaking away from Kronos' army. Amongst the chaos of fighting, the boy ran from his allies and towards the demigod army. He had shed the golden Kronos armor that adorned his body as he snuck behind enemy lines.

He needed to help the demigods. He needed to do Silena proud.

He needed to find Percy Jackson.

Luke stepped out of his cell, his right hand clenching the handle of his bicolored sword, Backbiter. Both parties stood still, their gaze locked onto eachother like a western showdown. All it needed was a tumbleweed to roll past.

"Jay, fight it. Don't let him keep you under." Luke stated firmly, trying to reach the one he loved once more.

"Foolish boy. She is long gone. Now, I thought we were fighting with blades, not words."

Luke clenched his jaw before he swung first, his gold sword clashing against the green blade of Tidebreaker.

And it was the clash that could be heard around the world.

Percy continued fending off the Empousai and other nasty creatures Kronos had sent their way. His anger fueled him as he struck them down, the monsters evaporating into mere clouds of dust at the touch of his sword.

Suddenly, a hand grasped his arm tightly, causing him to whip his head towards the source.

His hands clenched around Riptide when he was met by Ethan Nakumara, the boy's eyepatch being the first thing he noticed.

"Wait! I'm here to help you save your sister!" Ethan called out before Percy could raise his weapon.

They were interrupted when a crack sounded from the Empire State building. Percy and the demigods around him looked over as a golden light shone through the building's top floor, storm clouds beginning to swirl above it.

"What the hell is that?!" Thalia exclaimed as she lowered her bow.

Percy clenched his jaw before looking over at Ethan, who knew they didn't have much time.

"It's happening. We have to get the fleece."

Jay gasped as she awoke in the familiar ocean, the echoing of the metal meeting metal jarring her. The sound bounced off the gentle waves, reverberating in her head.

Before she could realize what was happening, she was pushed underneath the waves.

Like the River Styx, this water ignored her heritage and invaded her lungs. She struggled to meet the surface again, but it was as if an invisible force was pushing her downward.

Memories flashed before her, and with a sickening realization, she knew what was happening.

Kronos was searching her mind for Luke's Achilles heel. That fateful moment that Luke had broken free and told her his weakness, only for it to backfire.
