Jumping up from her short-lived slumber; her sheets soaked with sweat and her hair all over her head, she huffs and looks over at the clock, palming her face as it reads 3:00 a.m.... again.
"What the fuck" she whispers to herself, as she plops back on the bed, grabs a pillow, and screams into it
Her and her campus boyfriend had been on and off for a while but they finally decided to end their relationship a few weeks ago.
She missed his touch, his kisses, his cuddles. She even missed the nights he would hold her when she was crying her eyes out.
She finally gave in and called him; listening to the ringing until he picked up
"Hello?" he said in his sleepy voice
"Da'Vinchi, can you come over to my dorm please?" she asked him
"You miss me already? It's only been a few weeks" She could tell he was biting his lip just by his tone of voice
Still a cocky, egotistical piece of shit she thought
"Can you just come over?" She asked again, rolling her eyes
"Ion think I'll be able to. I got to practice in a few h-"
"Please?"
He sighed "Fine. I'll be there in a few"
"Ok bye" she hung up
Reaching for the bottle of water on her nightstand, she takes a swig of it to calm her nerves.
She fixes the top bun on her head and fixes her night clothes.
Not too long after, she heard a knock on her door. She went to go open it and there he was, with a T-shirt on and some jogging pants
"You still got my damn boxers" he chuckled
"And do. Come in" she moved out of the way for Da'Vinchi to make his entrance
Once she closed the door and locked it, he traveled his hands up and down her curves
"You having nightmares again?" he whispered into her ear, sending chills down her spine
Snap out of it Jen she thought
She shoved his hands off her sides and turned to face him. "No, I just wanted some company. I keep waking up in the middle of the night"
"How long has this been happening?" He asked
"Since we broke up" She mumbled
"Jenesis, you know I fucking hate it when you mumble"
"Since we broke up" She spoke a little louder for him to hear
"Awe, see, I knew you missed me" he licked his bottom lip
