It's 4 in the afternoon. I am still lying on the hospital bed waiting for the formalities to get over so I can leave this hell after 3 freaking days. I fell on my feet while playing football and fractured my leg. My family isn't much mad as they should be, or I should say I being a clumsy-head, they have become quiet used to it now.

My father is driving me to home, and I am quite sure he is mad at me because he had to leave the wedding preparations abruptly and take time out for me. Being eldest in the family, my father shoulders almost all the responsibilities of the wedding and also takes out time to meet me because of my foolishness. Oh, my cousin is getting married in a week.

"Daddy, I am sorry. I know I should have been careful. I'll be careful from next time, pakka." *puppy face*

Daddy looks at me from the rear glass and smiles after few seconds.

Finallyy! Phew.

Daddy done; now I have to focus on mom.

"Nandini, you know right, there's wedding at home and how important it is for everyone to stay sound. Don't you want to dance in your sister's wedding?" Daddy speaks softly glancing at me for a second and then focusing on road. I have always admired daddy for his this quality. Even though he is worried, tensed and a lot is going in his mind, he will still try to cheer the other person.

"Daddy, you know right, you can share anything with me?" I speak in exactly his tone. "What is bothering you? I might help you in some case." I blurt out my worry. "Nothing, it's just I hope the wedding goes on smoothly." Daddy says sighing. "It will Daddy. Don't worry." I say smiling. Daddy smiles back my favorite smile. I love my daddy so much.

I turn around to see the road. We are now in middle of a traffic jam, which would definitely take half an hour to clear. "Music?" Daddy says suggesting. "Of course, always up for music!" and before my daddy could even think anything else, I turn the radio on.

To my surprise, Atif Aslam's Jeena Jeena was about to start.

"Atif!!" I say happily.

"But, I thought Armaan Malik was your favorite. Changed so soon?" Daddy says smiling, but with confused eyes.

"No, Daddy. Armaan is always on top, but Atif is also good. See, it's like, if I love Butter Chicken, that does not mean I don't like Chicken Biryani. I love Chicken like I love music. Varieties and recipies don't matter." I explain him using my bandaged hands as if telling something so important only God knows what.

Daddy chuckles at me. "You and your Butter Chicken theories!" Daddy sighs dramatically and focuses on road again. We have hardly moved 3 meters since past 15 minutes.

Hmm... hmmm... hmmmm...hmmm..

Dehleez pe mere dil ki
Jo rakhe hain tune kadam
Tere naam pe meri zindagi
Likh di mere humdum

The song started and something starts to creep inside my head. Although there is an entire playlist I hear but this song is very very special to me. The song which connects me to my crush, my first crush.
