A/N: ANGST YAY. TW: Suicide attempts, suicidal thoughts, hinted cutting.

NUMBER I:

Relationship: Kaizen?? Platonic? Intimate? Idk.

Plot: Zen was injured too badly in the fight between him and Kaigaku, so he died not long after. He then suddenly woke up, alive, and at his master's estate. He realized that he has gone back in time, back in the day that his senior has gone to that fateful mission that made him into a demon. Determination not wanting to repeat the future, he tracked him down and swear to stop Kaigaku from choosing the wrong path. Then there was good news and bad news. The good news is he has succeeded in preventing the future that he knew, the bad news is that he has created an entirely new future when he was the one who became a demon. Newly turned, he almost attacked his own senior. Feeling shocked, angry, frustrated, even scared of himself, he then tried to kill himself. (The rest is up to you).

Normal description: He succeeded. He has avenged his master on the heavens. He has wanted to help Tanjirou too, but it seemed that he was out of luck. He knew he was dying. He can felt it. And soon, it all fades to black, his ears no longer ringing. A light. So, this is it-

His gramp stood before him, hands holding his signature wooden cane. Did he just hit him? Wait that's not possible how-

"Kaigaku just send me a letter", his master spoke.

Now that's impossible.

Zenitsu would soon realize, that in that day, both him and Kaigaku would change forever.

Simple description: Zenitsu doesn't know whether is he really fortunate or the literal oposite when he died then somehow time traveled to the past, changed it, and probably has created a worse future for himself.

Ambiguos description: Fate is cruel and ironic. One moment, you could be hanging in Death's door, the next, you could have returned to the past as if nothing has happened, and actually, nothing has happened. Agatsuma Zenitsu is the perfect example for that. With the burdens in his heart about the future, he would do anything to change it. Of course, everything came with a price. A demon for a demon. A death...for a death. But fates are unpridictable. Maybe he will redeem for himself. Maybe they will have a happy ending. Or maybe, only tragedies awaited them at the end of the path.

NUMBER 2:

Relationship: Tanzen

Plot: Tan died in the battle with Muzan. Before his official funeral, Zen has come to see him, one last time, because he couldn't face everyone at the funeral, he was so useless, he could have done something to prevent this! After this, he will end himself... He stood before Tan's lifeless corpse, grieving... Just to witness Tan suddenly (respawn) came back to live, but as a demon with no memories whatsoever about his past. Now more animalistic and feral, Tanjirou was almost unrecognizable, even his sound, which has become somewhat disoriented and wrong. Somehow, this felt even worse than before.

Normal description: Maybe this, all of this is his faults, his karma for being so useless. He gets it. He knows himself. But he couldn't take it anymore. All the whispers back in his mind, all of their good memories, all of everyone's hidden pain. He just wanted it to end. But life always has its tricks to keep him continued, even if that something is a bit impossible. Somehow, it also has succeeded in making him felt even worse about himself and life in general.

Simple description: It wasn't meant to be like this. It was going to be a simple day: Tries not to be suicidal in front of everyone, secretly go to Tanjirou to meet him one last time, and finally be freed from the pain. The fact that Tanjirou suddenly woke up as a demon with amnesia is not in the plan and can not be dubbed as a simple. Okay, what now?

Ambiguous description: Eyes puffy red, hair tangled, voice broken, dark bags, body trembling, long sleeves in the summer, more affectionate. They are all the same. He couldn't bare seeing them like this. Maybe this is selfish, but he just wanted it all to end so dearly. Yet an end he would not face any time soon. It may seem bad at first, but everything happened for a reason.
