When the girl's parents got home the next day they were shocked to find her dead in her bed. Her face was twisted into a horrible grin and makeup in all kinds of clashing colors was splattered on her face.
When the police got there they determined that she died of suffocation. But how? They was no struggle marks on the room other than a knickknack that had been knocked over on a shelf but they weren't sure that counted for anything. Besides her face the girl was peaceful, there were no marks on her body, and she wasn't in a position that indicated any kind of struggle or suprise.
The only thing the police could find that was vaguely suspicious was that a window lock had been broken. From the inside.
The window with a busted lock had been opened all the way upwards. It lead out on to a tree with a branch inches away from the sill that was strong enough to climb on.
Something else suspicious that no one noticed was a tiny printed tag that said simply "I warned you." Then again no one thought to look behind the grin to see the words underneath.

HorrorSo it's Christmas. Again. And I'm bored at a holiday party, so I scared a drunk British lady into peeing herself with these stories. FYI, they suck, and are not scary. So enjoy this not scary read.
