"Open the gate now." Bellamys voice boomed next to Clarke. Before the guard had time to respond a voice shouted across the camp. "Where do you think you two are going?!" Bellamy turned to see Abby.

"I was taking her to the creek." Abby finally stood in front of them. "The hell you are. She needs to be here. With us. With me." His blood started to boil. He knows that she needs to be away from this place.

He knows what she needs. "I think she should get away from here for a while and clear her head-." Hes cut off by Abby getting angrier. "She needs to be here with her mother." She that word like it was a prize that Bellamy would never get.

"How would you know what she needs?" She spat at him. She said you as if she could spit venom at him. He stood up taller. "Well Mrs. Griffin." He said with a very calm tone. "While you sent your daughter and the other 99 of them down here to die I helped her and I learned a lot about her. While you and the chancellor were up there." He pointed to the sky. "Letting us die."

She was very taken back at what he just said. "She's not a child that you need to protect anymore." He paused. "And plus she wants to go. So we are going." And with that the guard opened the gate and Bellamy and Clarke left without another word being spoken. "Thank you." She finally spoke after what felt like hours of silence.

"For what?" Bellamy asked slightly puzzled. "For saying that stuff. She really needed to hear it." He looked over to her. "You're welcome." And gave her a small smile.

They reached the creek in no time. For once they could go out at night and not worry so much. I mean they still had to worry about the mountain men and reapers but they weren't a huge concern right now.

He then knelt down by the water, his knees almost touching. He grabbed Clarkes elbow as she knelt next to him. Collapsing really. He gently rolled up her sleeves so they were just under her elbows.

He then took her hands, that were shaking, toward the cool water. As he was starring at her hands, lightly rubbing them with his, he would never know that Clarke was starring at him.
