Sensation (Death the Kid x Reader)

Chapter 3

Your POV:

You were sitting in class, just waiting for the bell to ring since you were starving while listening to Stein ramble about this species he was thinking about dissecting. You couldn't help but feel someone staring at you.

You didn't want to be weird and turn around to make eye contact with someone. You decided to ignore it while Kaito kept you company to keep your mind off of it. Before Stein could continue on with his random ramble the bell rings.

'Finally lunch!'

Everyone get's up exiting the classroom. You and Kaito also get up about to leave the class to go decide where you should both go eat lunch at. 

"Hey! You should come eat lunch with me and Soul! You can meet our friends!"

"O-Oh..Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure! They would love to meet you"

You felt such a relief knowing you wouldn't be a loner, even though you had Kaito with you. 

"Sure we would love too"

Kaito interjects with a smile, knowing you all too well you'll just freeze up. Maka leads the way to there spot until you felt that familiar burning sensation. You look at Kaito, Kaito nods knowing.
You told him in class the feeling you got.

He holds your hand to keep you calm and feeling a bit secure as well. 

"Hey guys, we have someone new that's going to be joining us today!" 

Maka moves aside with Soul revealing you to the group. You saw the same three people from this morning. The boy with the stripes looks away uninterested while a blue hair boy jumps up in-front of you.

"HEYA I'M BLACKSTAR NICE TO MEET YA!"

You wanted to cover your ears from how loud he was being, following that he lets out a obnoxious laugh. The girl besides him apologizes to you while also deciding to introduce herself. 

Once introductions got out of the way, you could finally breathe. "Oh yeah we are in the same class so you don't need to introduce yourself to us..maybe to Kid since he needs to arrive at 8"

Blackstar laughs as Kid turns his head looking at you. The tingling got worse, Kaito was still holding your hand while you were talking.

"I'm (Y/N), I am a mister this here is Kaito he is my weapon"

It was a rather plain introduction but it will do. Kid just nods holding his hand out. You take his hand, shaking it as a greeting. You both felt waves of electricity go through your bodies. You pull away quickly. 

"u-uhm it was nice meeting you all, but i'm going to eat my lunch somewhere else"

Maka frowns but let's you go. You walk away with Kaito still holding your hand. You couldn't shake what just happened off.

Kid's POV:

When I saw her walk away with that boy named Kaito, my chest started to hurt. 'Calm down'
I take a deep breath and look over to Maka who was basically trying to poke me with holes. 

"What happened between both of you?" 

I tense up. 'I couldn't just tell her that, that is my soulmate could I? I don't even know her yet all of these unknown feelings are coming up' 

"I don't know what happened..It was weird, anyway I'm going to go talk to her"

I get up avoiding the whole "Tell us everything" conversation. 

"Liz, Patty you both can stay behind i'm going by myself" 

I walk away trying to follow the girl named (Y/N)

'We both know we need to talk'
