Sensation (Death the Kid x Reader)

Chapter 1

Your POV:

Today went by fast! All you did was shop for some school clothes as well as materials. Flopping down on the sofa in your small apartment, you relax into the soft cushions.

"It's only 7pm..I can't sleep yet! So let's try out that new recipe I found!"

Getting up you decide to change into something more comfortable. A plain T-shirt along with some shorts. You pull up your (H/L) (H/C) so it doesn't get in the food or get in your way in general.

As you begin to cook, you could help but let your mind drift off about the mark that is on your arm..

'The mark on my wrist is supposed to be the first letter of my soulmate..but I have three letters..maybe their a jr. or like a third of something?'

As you let your mind wander off, the door to your home opens. You serve the food you made onto two plates. The person who opened the door silently closes it then sneaks up behind you.

"(Y/N)!!!!"

You scream backing away, hitting your foot against the table, then quickly turn around pointing the spatula you're holding at the person.

"What the hell Kaito! You scared the shit out of me!!"

Kaito laughs, tears threatening to spill out. Kaito is your weapon, a demon duel pistol, but he can also take the form of two swords.

"I just wanted to surprise you when I came back home silly!"

You puff your cheeks making a hmph sound, then put down the spatula your holding to hit him repeatedly with your fists.

"Ahhh, i'm sorry please stop being so cute!"

You giggle slightly blushing at the complement he gave you.

Kaito is a tall, pale boy, with deep blue eyes..who also has white hair that fades off into purple in the middle. He may look mysterious but he's fun to be around! You both sit at the table and dig into tonight's meal.

You couldn't get your mind off of school. That's going to be starting for you both tomorrow, you already met Lord Death so you already know what class to go to..except you didn't really know where it was inside the school..

You sigh as you take your empty plate to the sink.

"Something wrong (Y/N)?"

You shake your head turning to smile at him

"No nothing's wrong, just really tired! So i'm going to head off to bed! Sleep well, sweet dreams!"

You say, heading off to your room. You close the door then get yourself ready for bed. Once you finished everything you needed to do, as well as pick out your clothes for tomorrow. You get into bed, pulling the covers over you then slowly drift off into dreamland..

"You are so pretty (Y/N)"

You blush looking down at your feet, feeling embarrassed by that compliment. The person runs his hand through your hair, whispering sweet words into your ear. Telling you how important you are to them.

As they backed away you looked at their face..but couldn't see well since everything was now blurry.

"I love you (Y/N)"

You wake up confused as to what you had just dreamt about, you brush it off as just one of your weird dreams. You then notice that the sun is peeking in through your blinds! You quickly get up to get ready for your first day of school.

You rush out of your room to see Kaito sitting at the table eating toast.

"I made you some too don't worry miss rushy~"

He tells you in a teasing tone. You sit down eating the toast, as well as stealing a piece of bacon off of Kaito's plate.

"Okay! I'm ready, let's go!"

You say full of energy but on the inside you were a nervous wreck. You both walk to the school and are greeted by the heavenly stairs everyone calls hell. You groan not in the mood to have a work out this early in the morning.

"In times like these I wish you could transform into something that could fly.."

Kaito chuckles, then pat's your head. You both walk up the stairs finally making it to the top out of breath, you walk inside the building. Your first focus was to try to find someone that could help you find your class. 

You spot a girl in a black coat with her hair in pig-tails. You walk up towards her gently tapping her shoulder.

"H-Hi sorry but i'm new here do you mind helping me find my class?"

The girl turns around giving a gentle smile towards you.

"Sure i'd be happy to help! What class are you in?"

You mentally let out a sigh of relief, thanking whatever god is out there that she's nice.

"E.A.T?"

Her eyes light up.

"We are both in the same class then! Don't worry I was just heading there with my partner so we can all go together!"

You smile, feeling completely relieved that everything is going smoothly!

"By the way my name is Maka! This here is Soul!"

Soul gives a wave with a smile. Maka looks at him confused but pulls her focus back to you.

"My name is (Y/N)! This mysterious being is Kaito!"

Once the small introductions were over, you all made it to class. You weren't as tense as before, since now it feels like you're not completely lonely..it feels like you've just made two new friends on the first day.
