Fumikage wasn't sure what he was expecting, but a school this big was NOT it.
The four of them walked through the gates and into the building.
"So what classes are you guys in?" Fumikage asked.
"All three of us are in 1-A. What about you?" Kat asked.
"I am, too!" Fumikage said.
And so, the four of them weaved their ways through the halls and eventually made it to their classroom.
Once inside, they were greeted by a bunch of people talking to each other.
There was a navy-haired guy asking a blond guy to get his feet off a desk. The arrogant blond refused.
"Kacchan, listen to him," Kat snapped.
"Kacchan" rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine," he growled and put his feet on the floor.
"Is ... this your friend?" Okami asked, feeling a little bothered by his attitude.
"Katsuki Bakugou. I'm gonna come out top of the class. Don't you forget it, extra!"
Okami's only response was a glare. "Slow your roll, buddy. The year hasn't even started yet."
"Just you wait! I'll come out top of the class and THEN I'll be the best police chief the world has EVER seen! I'll even surpass Yagi!"
"With an attitude like that, I doubt it," Okami said with a smirk.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?! I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!"
"Proving my point," Okami said.
"Okami, don't provoke him!" Kat snapped.
"You're right. Assholes like him aren't worth my time," Okami said.
"DO YOU HAVE A DEATHWISH?!"
Okami ignored him and left to find her seat.
Fumikage watched the whole thing and sweatdropped. He slid into his own seat and stared at the desk, not really willing to interact with more people.
"What do you know? We're right next to each other!" Okami said.
"O-oh! So we are."
Deku slid into the seat in front of Okami, which was behind Bakugou. Kat sat down in the seat next to Deku and in front of Fumikage.
"We're seated near each other! How cool is that?!" Deku said.
"If it's gonna lead to you talking during class, I won't hesitate to rearrange the seats.
The four of them immediately snapped their heads towards the front of the classroom.
There stood a man with long, greasy, black hair and extremely tired eyes. "I'm Shota Aizawa. You are to refer to me as Aizawa-Sensei, but you should already know that. It took you all five minutes to settle down. That will not do. I have a low tolerance for foolishness," he droned. "Let's get started."
They day continued to drag. Even though it was the very beginning of the school year, they got right into truckloads of work.
The first thing they did was take some pre-tests to show what they know.
Fumikage stared at the tests in front of him. The English was a struggle and so was the history. The math was also confusing, but he knew a little bit about it. As for the biology test, that was just too easy.
In fact, when he got the tests back, the biology one was a perfect score.
"Impressive. No one's ever managed to do that on a pretest before," Aizawa told him.
