The Argument

Y/n and I  have a good relationship. We trust each other with anything and would do everything and anything for each other. But lately she has been coming home late and won't tell me where she has been, today was one of theirs nights.

It's passed 10 and y/n hasn't come home yet. Just as I'm in deep thought the door opens and y/n appears. She tiptoed across the living room, but stopped when she heard my voice.

"Where were you?" I asked.

"I was- I was out," she said. I didn't believed one word that came out of her mouth.

Those were the only words I could muster out. I couldn't blow the surprise. Charli and I have been staying up late just so we could plan Avani's surprise birthday party. Avani looked as if she was about to cry any second.

"Y/n where have you really been, just tell me the truth. I stay up all night just to wait for you to come home. Am I doing something wrong?" At this point I felt so bad. I didn't want to spoil the surprise, but I also didn't want Avani to be mad at me.

"Your not doing anything wrong, I was just out," I said as I try to convince Avani that nothing bad was happening.

"Y/n if your cheating on me just say it. I don't want to continue to hurt."

"Avani I'm not cheating on you. Why would you think that."

"Then where were you. Just stop lying to me I know you're cheating on me with Charli. But honestly I don't even care anymore, I never liked you anyway."

"Okay, you know what, I'm not cheating on you with Charli. The only reason I come home late is because we're planning a surprise party for you, but I guess not anymore." I said as I felt hurt. I ran passed Avani and in to our room and locked the door.

I've been sitting outside the bedroom with my head in me hands, regretting what I said to y/n. I began to cry as the thought of y/n leaving me.

I laid in bed on my side thinking about why Avani would think I'd cheat on her, then I heard sniffles coming from the other side of the door. I walk over to the door and open it, to see Avani with her head in her hands crying.

I knelt down to being her body into my embrace, as I as told her I forgive her.
