She took my hand and pulled me up from the couch and to the stairs to the apartments. We were going up the first flight of stairs when she tripped and fell on her leg before screaming in pain. "Ch Chandler I think my leg is broken." I looked down at her leg and said "Oh God Mon it's already starting to swell we have to get you to the hospital." "Oh God." "I'm going to have to pick you up okay?" I explained "Please be careful." "I will I promise." I lifted her up and used the newspaper in my hand to stabilize her leg. I walked back down the stairs and she buried her head in my chest, holding onto me for dear life, the tears streaming down her face as she sobbed into my chest. I opened the door with my back and Joey came running over and held it open for me. "Chandler what happened to Mon?" He asked "She tripped going up the stairs and fell on her leg. It's definitely broken. He walked with Chandler to the front door holding it open for him. "I'll tell the others why you had to leave so quickly." I nodded and started walking to the hospital. "Chandler where is the cab?" "I don't want to lay you out in the back seat of a cab or my car because I don't want to take a chance on you rolling into the floor and getting hurt worse." "Chan you can't walk all the way to the hospital and carry me too." "I have to, Monica, you can't ride in the back of a car."
