Amy: Team Egg Rocket's army has broken through! They're in the city! We need to get these people outta here!

Sudowoodo: Who do we send? Sargent's Sonic and Silver need time to heal.

Kadabra: We've engaged enemy forces at Seaside Hill.

Espio: We can't spare anyone!

Soldier: This is the 8th Unit! We're pinned down under heavy enemy fire!

Venusaur: We'll have to send in William! William, head back to the city and save the civilians!

William: You can count on me!

Knuckles: That was impressive, but we still have a lot to do!

Sonic: Great job! I knew you could do it if you believed in yourself!

Alakazam: Nice moves!

Vector: But if you hog all the glory, how am I going to look good?

Meanwhile

Tails: I can't believe it! Sonic's alive! I think I used up all my wishes for the rest of my life, but it's worth it!

Classic Sonic: ...(We gotta find him and tell them about Team Egg Rocket's plan. Whatever it is.)

Tails: They said something about Sonic being in the Mystic Jungle.

Classic Sonic: ...(I'll take a look around.)

Meanwhile

Glameow: The system is picking up a couple of strange readings. From the laboratory where Sonic fought Infinite.

Forretress: Probably one of Team Egg Rocket's robots.

Rouge: Life readings, two of them. Definitely not robots.

Mamoswine: William, get to the lab and check it out!

William: Will do!

William: What's this?

Classic Sonic: ...(Hello.)

Tails: Have we met before?

William: I'm the new recruit of the resistance, William. Follow me.

Back at the base

Tails: SONIC!

Sonic: Tails!

Tails: I was so worried! I thought you were...

Dawn: There's no need to worry, Tails!

Tails: Now I'm a little more worried.

Ash: Classic Sonic! It's been generations since we've seen you. You OK?

Classic Sonic: ...(Doing fine.)

May: We're all here together, safe and sound!

Tails: Eggman said that they had some plan to destroy us all in three days.
