Part 19

Flashback~

After Suman went to pick up the call leaving Shravan and Anjali discussing.

"So Anjali, why did your dad not listen to you?" Shravan asked.

"He thinks that guy is perfect for me, plus that guy is my dad's friend's son!" Anjali said.

"Have you ever met that guy before this marriage proposal came up?" Shravan asked.

"Yeah but only once or twice, like in a family gathering or party and all" Anjali said.

"Ladke ka naam kya hai?" Shravan asked.

"Rahul Madrecha" Anjali said.

"Naam toh accha hai... Rahul aur Anjali!" Shravan joked. Anjali looked at him confused.

"Kuch kuch hota hai, uss mein bhi toh Rahul aur Anjali the!" Shravan said making Anjali laugh.

"Right! Mai ne kabhi iss baare mein nahi socha tha" Anjali said.

"Shravan, I guess someone is keeping an eye on my actions!" Anjali said.

"What do you mean?" Shravan asked.

"After I left your office in the morning, I am seeing one person always around me' Anjali said.

"Is he here too?" He asked.

"Yes!' Anjali said.

"Where?" He asked.

"There! Where Sumo is standing and talking, the seat right behind her, there he is!" Anjali said.

"Anjali you do only one thing, just keep your father at home for next few days. Do whatever it takes to make him stay, I will handle everything!" Shravan said.

"You were right, Anjali came here to meet them!"

Suman went back to Anjali and Shravan and sat where she was sitting, beside Shravan.

"Sorry, it was important" Suman said trying to act normal after what she heard.

She then looked at Shravan, one look in her eyes and he knew something was wrong but he didnt ask anything at that time.

"Thank you so much Sumo and Shravan, I will be going now... Everyone at home must be waiting for me" Anjali said getting up from her seat and taking her purse.

"Hume bhi chalna chahiye Shravan!" Suman said looking at him. They both stood up and bided Anjali.

Soon they also left the place and Suman told Shravan what she heard in the cafe.

After dinner everyone went to their respective room except Shravan, he was in his study working on the case.

"Shravan, how much time will you take?" Suman asked peeping through the door of his study.

"Why? What is going in your mind?" Shravan asked mischievously.

"Shut up! I won't be able to sleep without you so that is why I am asking" Suman said pouting.

"Come here" Shravan said. He was sitting on the couch with laptop on his lap.

Suman went inside and sat beside him. He kept the laptop on the table which was kept in front of the couch.

And next moment he lifted Suman up from his side and placed her on his lap.

"Shravan!! What are you doing!?" Suman squealed.

"Shh Sumo!" He said making her head rest on his shoulder.

"How will you work then??" She asked.

"Stop asking questions and close your eyes!" Shravan said.

She closed her eyes and he stroked her hair from one hand and other wrapped around her waist.

Soon her breathing became even letting Shravan know that she is asleep. He picked her up in bridal style and went to their room.

He placed her on the bed and covered her with the blanket. Before leaving for his study he gave her a forehead kiss and went.

After entering in his study he made a call to confirm what he got to know.

"Yes sir, you were right. It's him only!" The person on the call confirmed.

"Thank you for confirming!" Shravan said and disconnected the call.

After studying the case for some more time, he went in their room and lied on the bed beside her.

He hugged her from back, feeling his hands on her body she turned to him and snuggled close to him.

He hugged her protectively. He gave her forehead kiss and closed his eyes to sleep.
