I sat by the fire trying to keep warm listening to the crickets sing the birds chirp and the frogs croak. This is the first time where I don't need to worry about if a scavenger will find us or if those evil doctors will find us. I am finaly at peace.

I lay back and stare at the stars. Sammy came over to join me. She was happy.

"Sammy, I once believed that every star was the spirit of a great warrior who died in battle. They remain up there to let other heroes find their way. Some day I will go up there to join my ancestors."

Josh then came to join us also.

"There are so many people up there who died defending us. Keeping humanity safe from itself. We fight to end it all. To restore peace."

Josh replied" We are with you until the end no matter the cost. In life or death."

Sammy nodded. I realised that if I was the supposed queen of the mystics then couldn't I call everyone to arms. To rejoice in a final battle.

I waited for everyone else to fall asleep, I got up and went to the water's edge. I knelt down beside it and stared at my reflection praying for guidance. Eryl and Athena walked either side of me. I did not turn to greet them.

Athena spoke calmly" You are not alone. We are all here for you. If you wish we can send on of the marble scouts to search for your friends."

"Thank you" I did not look up.

Eryl spoke, "We can send you to the correct path but it is you who must follow it to its end."

I finaly perked up the courage to ask a dying question "Are there more than one of each element?"

Athena replied "Yes but not all of them know it. There are a male and female of each .having different aspects of the power together making them a powerful pair."

"But my partner is gone; I killed him."

"My Queen there will always be a partner. Another ethera will have full power just as you do."

"Who are they where are they?"

"Now that you must find out for yourself."

Just as I was about to speak Eryl's eyes went black and he spoke unconsciously.

"Queen will conquer Our king

The age of terror will end

Royal blood taken common blood spared

a great alliance will trust

all are cloaked in lies

new beginnings when only tales of old die

sliding bonds fuse

but all will fail if the deceiver walks the dead road"

The coldness left his eyes and he nodded to me then both of them left me. What does it mean Royal blood taken common blood spared?

I returned to the others and fell between them and fell asleep lost to the land of dream.

I rose from my body but it was still night. I saw myself lying there on the ground but I was here. There was a rustling in the bushes so I turned around and a girl and boy stepped forward. They walked up to me and bowed.

"Welcome Queen of the Mystics we have long anticipated your arrival."

"Who are you"
