Looking For Delilah

I took my suitcase and went onto the plane. I was there for around 15 hours. I mostly slept on the plane. When I woke up, the flight was landing.

I got out of the plane and into the beautiful land of New York. I didn't know where Michelle would be, so I went to a random hotel. Well, it wasn't that random, because I had picked it out for its popularity.

I guessed Michelle wouldn't want to go to a bad hotel. She was a very picky person.
As I checked in, I saw a lot of other people at the hotel. There were families and couples.

It was around noon by now, so I guessed that they were going out for lunch. After the hotel got my room ready, which took around 1 hour, I went to a nearby "Subway" to  eat. I checked into my room and saw how beautiful it was.

The walls were beige marble with accents of gold. There were white and gold columns running around the room. But the first thing that caught my eye was the giant window in the middle of the room.

As I looked into it, I saw so much of New York. Little people walking in the streets, cabs driving around, New York was so chaotic. But as my glance moved up, I saw the buildings and all of the lights.

Though it was still around noon, I could see all the lights of the city beautifully. I couldn't wait till night to see all of the bright shining lights of this big city.

But, until then, I should go look for Michelle. A small part of me knew that I wasn't really here for Michelle, and that I was here for Delilah. Michelle had just given me the opportunity to find Delilah.

I walked around the streets of New Yo0rk, hoping to run into Michelle. I knew it was hopeless though. New York was a giant city, and there was no way
you could find someone in there if you didn't know exactly where they were.

Suddenly, I thought I saw Michelle's hair. (not like, on a mannequin, on a
human.) Her hair went from dark brown to honey blonde in wavy, beach curls.
I chased after her and yelled, "Michelle! Michelle!"

The girl turned around and looked at me. That was definitely not Michelle. "Back off, creep." she warned. "And my name is not Michelle."

"Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else," I said.

"Looking for someone?" a voice said from behind me.

I turned around and saw Michelle's familiar face.

"Oh my God! Michelle! You're here!"

"Um yeah, did you just realize that?"

"Well, um no, I was just surprised."

"I have to admit, Will, you have got some skills at finding people."

"Well, what can I say, I'm a master detective," I joked. "Well, Michelle, why are you here?"

"Lately, I've been missing Delilah a lot, so I decided to come here and look for her. She always said how she wanted to go to New York."

"She did, didn't she,"

"Well, what hotel are you staying at?"

"Um, the White Rose, what about you?"

"Same!"

"Well then, by all means let's get back to the hotel."

We walked back to the hotel in silence and as we walked into the hotel, we found out that our rooms were right next to each other.

We went into our rooms and went to sleep. Once I woke up, I got ready and strolled over to Michelle's room.

"Wanna ask around to see if anyone knows Delilah?" I asked.

"I don't know, we don't even know if she's in New York. How about we search her up first?"
