Chapter 5: At Sunrise

-Matt's POV-

I was going to meet up with Layla at the park, at 6:30, I had woken up at 5 just to get ready, I wore my galaxy sweater, my uniform pants, and brought along my penny board, I was ready for Layla.

-Layla's POV-

*ALARM GOES OFF*

"Ugh" I mumbled
I looked at the clock it was 5:00, the time I usually wake up on Fridays, just to watch the sunrise. While I was getting ready, I got texts, strange ones, plus I don't remember giving out my number to anyone, other than Matt and Tasha,

PRIVATE NUMBER:
BACK OFF FATASS, IM GOING TO GET HIM BACK!

I didn't respond, I was worried, but I just shook it off.

~AS MATT AND LAYLA MEET UP WITH EACH OTHER~

-Layla's POV-

I saw Matt, waiting for me, I saw him sitting on the bench, gazing into the sky. Matt noticed me and called my name to come over.

"Hey Layla! Over here!"

"Hey"

"Layla, thank you for forgiving me..."

"Matt, don't worry about it, lets just forgive and forget"

Matt came close, I was gonna move but you can't ignore it, Matt was a boy, the boy who hurt me, but than fixed me with his charming skills. I suddenly felt warm soft lips against mine, I pulled back saying,

" I love you Matt, but lets give it some time, I don't want to rush our friendship"

Matt understood.

" Wanna play 20 questions? " Matt asked

" Sure"

" Who's was you first love?" I asked

" You" Matt said

My cheeks flushed pink.

" Who gave you your fist kiss?" he asked

" You " I said shyly

He smiled, then grabbing my hand, cupping it and dropping something in it. It was a necklace, it had 2 small little bottles saying " love " and the other " forever "

"Oh Matt you didn't need to do that" I said

" I got this for you just yesterday"

I was surprised ! I never knew how strong his love and companionship he had for me.
