Chapter 9: My Layla

-Matt's POV-

I was at Layla's house, why? I was there for a sleepover. I was there for Layla, because she was really beat up by my ex: Ranaé Sherly. Ranaé was dead to me, but this mourning when she kissed me, she made me think,
"Do I still love you?"
But I couldn't, I loved Layla, but she didn't want me to be her boyfriend, she wanted to go slow. What was the point? Should I go back to Ranaé, or go forward and wait for Layla's approval? I couldn't decide.

"Matt, do you want something to eat?" Layla said

"No no, it's okay"

" Are you sure, if your hungry there's some takeout leftovers" she said giggling

I loved it when Layla laughed. I don't get to see it all the time. Layla is just a cheerful person, I loved seeing this, but she always gets hurt, we're only into the 1st week of school, and people remember her, and still call her names. Its frustrating, for me to be one of the cool guys, its hard for me to understand people like Layla. I always dated girls who couldn't be serious, I never had "serious" friends, everybody just wanted to be with me for only 1 reason... My fame. People only know me for my "6 second silly vines", Magcon, and twitter. But Layla didn't seem to care or not even know about it, and that's why I like her, she beautiful, funny, honest, everything I wanted, but she just wanted to take it slow! I know selfish, but when you love a girl, you do whatever it takes to get her.

" You wanna watch a movie Matt?"

"Sure"

" What kind, scary, humour, kid shows?"

I was laughing when she said kid shows,

" Hey don't judge, I bet you have insecuritys like me too"

" Your so funny" I said

Her cheeks flushed pink, she got up and went to go pick up the movies from the family room,

"Layla! you stay here and I'll pick the movie okay?"

"Aww, but, okay..." she said childish

I went downstairs to pick a movie, I liked this movie, it was an action/horror. I got up stairs and Layla is no where to be seen. I tried looking, and then,

"BOO!"

I screamed watching Layla laughing then crying in pain, I told her to relax while I went to get some ice.(Layla fell while laughing) When I got up, Layla was sitting on her turquoise bed, all curled up, it was so cute.

"Here" I said while handing her the ice

"Thanks, you screamed like a girl"

"O shucks!" I said in my impressed voice trying to be laughing

*1 HOUR INTO THE MOVIE*

Layla was already scared. She was hugging my arm, it was nice to feel her warmth against me.

"Matt I'm scared"

"Why? Cause of the beheading?" I said laughing

"No!" giving me a weak arm punch

"Ow" Layla screamed

"Shouldn't have done that"

" I know"

*MOVIE ENDS*

Layla was scared the shit out of her pants, it was so cute to see her reaction to the beheading and gorry murders.

" Matt's I'm tired"

"Then go to sleep" I said getting up

"Matt!" Layla grabbed my hand

"What?"

" Can you sleep in my room, I'm sorta scared."

"Fine, but where would I sleep?"

" My bed silly!"

I was sorta shocked, her bed instead of the guest room,

"Okay fine"

I took my shirt off and left my pj pants on, Layla was just staring and laughing

"Do you litterly sleep with no shirt on?" she said giggling

"Yeah"

She turned off the lights, and we went to bed.
