When Ivy woke up a couple of hours later, she felt a smart pressure on her chest and when she looked down she found out that it was Harley's head. A smile appears on her face at the sight of this. A true and genuine smile, not like the one she had been faking these last couple of weeks.
"This is the first time I have seen your smile in a long time." the blonde girl murmurs without opening her eyes. She had been awake for a while now but she didn't wanted to wake the very peaceful Ivy up so she had remained still, watching her sleep, only closing her eyes when she realized that the redhead was waking up.
"Come on, Harls. We have to get ready for the party." Ivy answers with a sleepy voice. The smile was still on her face and Harley would make sure it didn't go away anytime soon. She would do her best to accomplish that task. "Do you wanna shower first or I go?" the redhead continues talking, trying really hard not to get caught on her friend's diamond blue eyes.
"You go first Iv... In the meantime I will see what we can wear for tonight, okay?" Harley knew Ivy's style very well so she wouldn't have any problem choosing her best friends outfit for tonight. The redhead only nods and goes to the bathroom still wearing a smile.
When the blonde hears the sound of the shower she allows herself to daydream for a couple of minutes about how it would be to wake up with Ivy like they did moments ago but every day. The idea looks amazing in her head but she knows that is never going to happen, not with Kite-Man and Ivy's weeding just two weeks from now. She'd lost her chance; it was damn time to accept it.
Realizing that she is depressing herself, Harley tries to think in something else and starts looking through all the clothes that Barb had given them. She doesn't take too long to choose something and then starts playing with her phone.
About forty minutes later, Ivy comes out of the bathroom wearing a robe and with her hair already dried and finds Harley completely lost in her game. She can't help but smile at the sight of this. "Come on... you piece of shit! Punch, Punch! ... Yeah! Take that looser! Don't mess with me the next time!" the blonde screams excited when she finally wins the level she was in, still not noticing the redhead looking at her with a small grin.
"Good work, babe. You beat them all up." Ivy finally says, letting the other woman know that she was there which causes a blush on the ex-psychologist's face and lowers her gaze. She gets closer to the blonde and cups her face gently between her hands. "Hey... chin up Harls. I was just teasing you. You know that." says caressing her cheeks softly. They stare at each other for a moment before Ivy breaks the silence. "Come on. Go to have a shower, honey. I'll change and read something while I wait for you." Harley is only able to nod, still a little lost due to Ivy's caresses. She finally wakes up from her daydream and goes to the bathroom.
When Harley comes out of the bathroom twenty-five minutes later her jaw drops: Ivy as wearing a white tank top, black and tight pants and ankle boots. Even if Harley had picked that outfit for her best friend, her imagination hadn't been fare. Ivy looks astonishing and incredible gorgeous.
The moment ends when they hear a knock at the door. "Guys...? Are you ready? We have to go, the party started more than an hour ago." Barb's voice is heard from the other side of the door. Harley gets in her silver dress and high heels very fast. Thankfully both of them had applied their makeup already.
"Are you ready to party all night and get wasted Iv?!" the blonde asks before they leave the room to meet the younger girl that was already waiting for them.
"Um... yeah, sure." Is the answer of the woman while she makes a mental note to keep an eye on Harley during all night so she wouldn't so anything she could regret in the morning.
"Let's go!" Harley says when they meet Barbara and the three women go to the party.
TIME SKIP
Harley woke up the next morning with a really big hangover and the sun shining brightly in her face. She mumbles something and turns around trying to avoid the sun so she could go back to sleep. But, before she could fall back into Morpheus' arms, Harley feels something warm next to her and opens her eyes only to find a pair of beautiful emeralds.
"What the fuck?!"
