The group had no idea how to react.

It's very rare that Richie gets that upset and the losers were surprised he got that upset over that topic. They all stood there in shock and silence as Richie rode around. "Oops." Stanley said quietly.

"Oops!? That's what you have to say? What if.. what if he doesn't decide to come back.. or can't come back? What happens then Stan?" Eddie gets upset at himself and Stan for being insensitive with their words.

"E-eds I-I'm positive th-th-ttthhhat Richie will be back r-eally quick, just calm dddd-duh-down, we can watch a movie or s-suh-something and just calm ourselves." Bill reassures Eddie and gets up to grab some movies, blankets, and pillows.

"Fine but if he isn't back by," Eddie checks the time to see it's already 23:00 (11pm) "Midnight I'm going out and looking for him." So the group agrees to help him at midnight and everyone gets settled in, Mike and Eddie on the couch and the rest on the floor. Bill put in Oliver and Company then he laid down on the floor with Stan.

Richie didn't have any particular place in his mind to go to, so he just rode around the town, past all of the losers houses, over the kissing bridge, by the arcade. Past the store Eddie always gets his meds at, the quarry, the library and more places the losers would go, whether it be separately or together.

He tried to think about anything accept for how the losers reacted to the way he stormed out, if they weren't worried, if they were upset with him, if they thought he wouldn't come back and didn't care, if they were looking for him. But that's all he could think about, and for a second he considered not going back tonight. He could just go back home and get back there around lunch just to grab his things so he could avoid being scolded or ignored by his best friends. But he quickly decided that he needed to go back. If they did care, they would be worried about him seeing how he's been out for an hour and a half, and he also just didn't want to have to go back home yet.

Richie stopped his bike and turned around, knowing that he had passed the easy way to Bill's house. Yet, once he was on the road that contained the driveway to the house he had just stormed out of, he froze up. He didn't feel like they would be happy to see he was ok, he knew they would, but he didn't feel like it. Richie rode up and down the road until he finally told himself he had to face them sometime and he threw his bike on the lawn and walked up to the door.

He tries the handle and it was surprisingly unlocked, so he quietly opened and shut the door behind him. "He-" he cut himself off when he realized than everyone had fallen asleep.. at 00:30. He saw they fell asleep with Oliver and Company, a pretty classic movie, set out in the same idea but nonetheless a good movie. No one had blankets on top of them, so he looked for some different blankets that are not already being used to lay on.

He found 5 blankets stashed in the back of a closet, and brought them back to the group. He laid them over each person, but allowing Bill and Stan to share one since there weren't enough for everyone and it was surprisingly cold in the house.

Richie allowed the movie to play over again while he sat down in front of the couch, curling up into a ball since he couldn't find another blanket for himself. He fell asleep about an hour into the movie.

Although Richie was the last one to go to sleep, he also wanted to be the first to wake up, so he was up at around 8 so he could attempt to form an apology to the losers. And also try to cook pancakes for the losers without burning the house down.

Richie stretched and immediately shivered, it had gotten colder in the house and he still has no idea where to find blankets. He grabbed his clothes out of his bag and went to the bathroom to change.
